Used for PHILIPS Electric Toothbrush battery damaged replacement batteries, custom metal contacts, simple welding to replace old batteries, make your PHILIPS electric toothbrush work again Review: Fits other stuff too. - I actually got it to replace the battery inside my phillips/Norelco 7000 series shaver. I left the shaver in my car one day and it stopped working at all. Itโs been working fine since I replaced it . No problems. It seems to last like the original one or maybe more. Review: Works - Worked great so far. Probably not a job for a beginner however just make sure you use wick or a solder sucker to clean the board.

Perfect Replacement Soldering Experience Needed
I have a Phillips Sonicare HX6710 And the battery was a perfect fit. Pins protruded through perfetly to make a good solder connection. Used a quick clamp at the bottom of the Phillips to gently squeeze the housing (The housing is oblong so please the quick clamp on the high points of the oval shape. Squeeze very gently! You should see a small gap around the bottom centerpiece And that will be enough to release the electronic assembly when you do the next step) and flip the toothbrush around then on a hard surface pushed firmly but not very hard on the metal piece that receives the toothbrush to push out the electronic assembly. (My toothbrush had a little square plastic piece on that metal head that came off after the electronic assembly released - keep your eyes open for it). My first try of reassembling I could not get the push button on the housing to push the button on the electronic assembly inside. Removed the electronic assembly. Found that I could release the push button on the housing. There are two "catches" on either side of the push button with a screwdriver. push on those catches towards the center of the push button and it will release). Reassembled the electronic assembly. and reinstall the push button (note the position of the push button rubber pin is a little bit off center and you need to make sure that it lines up with the push button on the electronic assembly in the housing before you secure it in place by pressing it into the housing). I'm hoping that this battery lasts more than a month as some have said. I always put the date of install on the battery. Perfect fit and works well at this point.

Questionable quality...
It fit, and worked great for about a week. After that, it didn't hold a charge and then just stopped working.

Electric toothbrush battery replacement a success!
Battery fit perfectly, and electrical leads were identical to original battery. This make placement easier as you do have to wiggle the replacement around so it can snap into place with its leads protruding thru the proper printed circuit board pads. There are several YouTube videos documenting the procedure.

short lifetime
Installed in Sonicare HX6950 toothbrush. Came charged and worked great - for 2 months.

Overpriced but is a direct drop in replacement.
Easy to remove old battery and install new one if you're have basic soldering iron skills; might want to use some soldering braid for a clean removal. The battery only fits in one way if you're concerned about installing it correctly. The hardest part was removing the tooth brush from it's casing. Hopefully this battery will last for several years as my original one did. Reminder - do not through the old battery in the garbage. Lowes has a battery recycling bin for disposing rechargeable batteries.
