Worth the money!!! Amazing quality!

I have a "cookie day" every year with my grands. I use an old fashioned gingerbread recipe and this is the only brand of molasses I will use. I was thrilled to find it in a gallon size! It's a much better value than buying the small jars. The seal was great with no leakage. The thickness was identical to the smaller jars I've purchased in the past. And the flavor is top notch h!! I don't love molasses by itself, and it has to have a great flavor because we eat our gingerbread houses, this brand is just perfect! These are the gingerbread cakes my grands did this year!

Grandma Rules. And YES, the brand matters. Phase 1: Okay I admit it, I used to eat Grandmas molasses by the spoonful when I was pregnant 🤰. Phase 2: Beyond that phase, it is a staple of in our marinades - the brand matters. Phase 3: it is a magic "happy juice" for our vermicompost (aka red wrigglers). I followed the advice of a red wriggler breeder-Taste is not the issue compared to Phase 1 and 2, but (who knew ?!!) they love it.

The best molasses on the market. I use it in my granola and ginger cookies that are big hits at market.

I love this molasses always been trusted brand. All 3 generations have used Grandma’s. You can use it in a lot of recipes. Make your own brown sugar. It’s good in hot cereal in the morning. Always consistency and same thickness every time.

Use this to make granola. Much better price then buying small jars.

I was tired of not finding the small bottles at the grocery store, and this was a savings over time. It arrived intact, no mess. I must have over-tightened the lid about the 5th time I used it. It cracked the top of the lid off from the threaded part, so I had to find a new lid. Maybe I don't know my strength, but my guess is that they saved a hundredth of a cent buying cheaper, thinner caps. The molasses tastes great! So they still get 5 stars.

The gallon container was put into a box that was too small length-wise and so the top of the bottle got squished down into the container so I can’t open it. I know the molasses itself will be fine once I find a way in and another container to store it in. Great molasses for baking!
