I need to clear brush and undergrowth up to 2 inches in diameter. Will this work?

I've put an 80 tooth carbide saw blade on mine and can easily cut up to 3 1/2" branches and trees. Works great on grass, brush, vines. Plenty of power to drive the blade. The arbor is 1" so you need to make sure you purchase the correct blade to fit.

Looking for a good Heavy duty wacker to used in the island, is this good for hard wkrk?

I bought this weed whacker. It is a LOT heavier than you think. It is VERY unbalanced and therefore extremely clumsy. It is NOT suited to normal weed trimming. It's ok for clearing brush. But mine sits in the garage and I use a lightweight Husq. Which I bought this thing to replace. I recommend you run away unless you're only clearing heavy stuff. And you're a he-man.

Where can I purchase a pull starter that fits this? Please leave a part number.

If you mean the actual pull start handle(small Tee shaped plastic part) most asny small engine shop or even the lawn and garden section at Home Depot or Lowe's. If you mean the starter cap assembly, you will have to contact the manufacturer. Your manual should have had a help line.

Does this work with Troy bill, trimmer plus attachments?

Mine doe not work at all after two months and manufacturer refused to honor warranty !
