Industrial adhesive
Used this to install solar panels on my van roof 3 years ago. Panels are still holding strong after being in the snow and extreme heat of Arizona. Stands up to using a power washer to blast debris from the channels under the panels too. No sign of degradation. Got another tube to install a new panel and was pleasantly surprised to get a metal tube! I did have issues with the plastic tube bursting during application cuz this adhesive is very thick

The stuff holds but prep and plan work ahead.
Worked great on solar panel install on my TPO RV roof. I did make sure the surface was properly cleaned, prepped and 3 days of curing at 60-80 degree F temps before hitting the road with my RV. Put 1700 miles on them at interstate highway speeds in windy conditions and so far, so good! The stuff is thick so a good heavy duty caulk gun is recommended. Another caution is have your work prepared properly. I found out the hard way that once i started the tube, even though put a nail in the end and taped it up, it still set up in the tube so i had to start a new tube. Plan you work properly because it is pricey.

Sikaflex 252
This product was recommended as an adhesive to attach c-channel to the side of a conversion van to allow for the installation of an awning and it has done the trick perfectly. I warmed the product slightly in the oven (preheated and then turned it off) to make it flow from the tube easier and used painters tape to tape off the area were I did not want the adhesive to go. After I applied the adhesive I followed up with sheet metal screws to keep it all in place. I used a cloth sprayed with brake cleaner to do the final wipe off clean up and the end result looked professional. I've used the c-channel numerous times, even in strong winds and it held fast. I would recommend this product. I know it is a bit pricey but in this case, you do get what you pay for.

A bit hard to dispense
All worked great once out of the tube, but it was extremely difficult to dispense. I had to squeeze with two hands and my cheap home depot dispenser bent under the pressure. It was fairly warm outside, in FL, so I can't blame the stiffness on cold product. I would only use again with a professional dispensing tool.

It is STRONG
We purchased this because it was recommended to use with the Renogy No-Drill mounting brackets. I mounted two 100W solar panels to our motorhome roof. We've driven about 1000 miles since then and have had no problems. This last trip we encountered 30-40 MPH winds and they held strong. I know there is some debate about this product, but I'm very happy.I did find that applying it in cold weather was rough - definitely better to do it when it's warm!

Not that great.
After only a couple of summers, this stuff crumbled and cracked on the roof of my RV. It might be good for sealing inside, or between panels, but avoid using it where directly exposed to weather. Now I'm redoing the solar install with the "correct" self leveling lap sealant.

Great Adhesive
Used this to adhere solar panels to RVRoof, as suggested by the manufacturer.Strong adhesive while still elastic.I used a polycarbonate sheet as underlayment to provide an air gap.The tip has a very large opening, so it is not easy to apply a fine line, that was the only disadvantage.
