Adult Ultra Back Support

Excellent product! Super fast free delivery even over Christmas. Gives all the support in all the right places for me. With two herniated discs and a bulging disc in my extreme lower back this back brace is perfect. Very lightweight yet put perfectly together for strong constant support. Takes the permanent pain away and my back feels like it did before the injury. I was afraid there were no good braces available at a reasonable price, this product is excellent at a fantastic price. I read the reviews, do order a size larger then you think you need and you'll be glad you did for a perfect fit with room to grow. Just so very satisfied with this product. As a professional union Stagehand I was afraid my ruptured back would forever hold me back in a very physical profession, this brace gave me my back back and I'm so much more confident and back to what I was before the injury. Truly takes the constant pain away, I look forward to wearing it when I put it on.

Works as expected. Teen using this for back support in marching band on drum line. Great product.

Two things I would consider before buying this product. 1. How tight do you prefer back supports to be? Answer 1. I like my back supports to be pretty tight. When I was reading the reviews, a lot of people were saying to get the size up from what you would expect to get. I don't agree. I am a 36 waist and I got the XL, I wish I would have gotten the Large. 2. How stiff do you want your back support? Answer 2. I had back surgery almost a year ago and I bought this because I am still very active, cautious, but active. I figured this would be a good support while playing volleyball, or doing sprints. The three supports that you see on the back are not nearly as stiff as they appear. I gave this 4 stars because it is still a supportive product, very high quality, and was a great price for the quality of the product. If you are to have this for everyday wear, & for comfort while you sit in the office. then I would say to purchase this product.

Seems like the size chart is a bit off. I followed what was required for sizing a Shock Doctors website but it was a miss. I ended up giving it to my girlfriend and she was happy with it. I gave it three stars for the size chart other the that it seems like a well built back support..

Hey middle ager active guys! (Yep, me too) If you occassionally hurt your lower back, irritating an already known condition, or your feel like you need to be more careful, this might be the ticket! I wanted a lower back brace that I could still work with on, that would move with me, and be uber-adjustable. This is it. Stretchy, breathable, and on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say its a 6. To put this in perspective, a weight lifters belt should be 9-10 for something like deadlifts, right? I guess I could use this at the gym, but its more of a reminder that ideal gear for something like that. I recently schlepped 80 lb bags of concrete mix. Wore the back support. Helped me, and reminded me not to bend the wrong way. Probably all I will need. And thin enough that you could get it on under casual clothing.

I have chronic back pain from an accident 3 years ago.. i switch back braces every week or so to not have my back tire.. this is a great brace. Its easy to use and provides plenty of support. The only complaint is it is a little itchy.. i wear my back brace under my shirts as im self conscious. Overall great product.

Worked great for about the first week, and after that the Velcro began giving way. Now, 3 weeks later the brace has been rendered useless. I will never again buy another Shock Doctor product

on the face of it- the item looks like in the picture. HOWEVER, when I tried to put it on-- it is extremely uncomfortable. I don't use it and I bought another one. too bad since it is an expensive product.

Works great. I like the extra elasticated straps, as when I sit down I can release some of the pressure on my abdomen and then tighten back up before I stand up again.
