Un-du 32 Ounce Commercial Framing Adhesive Remover Bottle, un-du Products

Un-du is one of my favorite products ever! I use it for many things besides adhesive removal--cleaning my white boards, and sometimes just cleaning grime off of something I'm having a hard time getting clean. I recommended it to a teacher at our school for cleaning off a laminated piece she used to stick things on with wax, and it cleaned the wax build-up off the lamination. This is the second time I've purchased in this 32 oz. bottle, and it is so much more economical than buying in the smaller individual bottles. It is shipped from "The Library Store" company, and I love that they wrapped it in a plastic bag before shipping it. It came without incident, but I Iike that they take that extra step to make sure everything arrives safe and sound.

I use a lot of this stuff. There's really no other product like it. Removes stickers and residue without odor or oily mess to be cleaned up after. It doesn't harm paint or finish on books, items or surfaces.

This stuff is GREAT for removing adhesives and it leaves no stain on papers and won’t damage photos. Doesn’t really work on glue that’s used for scrapbooking, but fine on other stuff. This size bottle is soooo economical! To buy this stuff in the 3-4 oz bottles you’d pay a whole lot more to get as much as in this bottle.

Does a great job

Someone introduced me to this product years ago when I began scrapbooking. I use it so often, removing labels and stickers, it was time to buy it in bulk so it will last me a while. Love it!

This stuff is incredible - if you ever find yourself trying to clean adhesive off of a surface only to find that you have just spread it out into a thin mess and made things worse, then this is for you. It works almost immediately and disappears almost as soon as it is applied, in most cases leaving no hint that it was even ever there. For surfaces that can take a little bit of abrasion I combine this with "magic sponge" style foam - it is jaw-droppingly effective and removes stubborn residue almost immediately (not recommended for soft surfaces as these foam sponges are micro-abrasive). Be sure to use in a well ventilated area with proper PPE, you can't get this rate of evaporation without a heady amount of vapors - another major plus though is that there is little to no linger odor to surfaces once it has done its job.

The price always fluctuates of course, but at the time of this review, two of the 4 ounce bottles is running at $23.99. So if that's the cost of 8 ounces of Un-du, then 16 ounces would be $48, and 32 ounces would be $96. However, this here is 32 ounces of it for $40!! That's a much better deal if you ask me! I know though, buying the little ones means they come with the scraper and are much easier to manage. In that case then, just do what I have done, and save some of the little bottles if you've ordered them before. Or if you must, get them again or get them for the first time, and then save them so that you can then get this one. It's obviously totally worth it. I also know that a version of Un-du had come out that was missing something or another and that it didn't work as good as the original Un-du. Well, so far this big bottle of Un-du has worked just as good as the original stuff for me. However, I can't be 100% certain that it's the same, or if it's the same as what's in the little bottles of Un-du.

Love this stuff. Beware that the smell is pretty potent, like lighter fluid and its contents are highly flammable, as well. However, it removes anything from shipping labels and decals to planner stickers instantly and doesn’t leave any stains behind. You may have to wipe the surface a second time to ensure complete removal of the adhesive, but the product works extremely well and dries quickly. Gave four stars because it’s a bit overpriced compared to similar items and isn’t always available.
