Great USB Hub for Everyday Use
This VEMONT USB hub works really well and has made things a lot easier for me. It’s fast when transferring files, and I really like that each port has its own on/off switch with a light, so I can turn devices on or off without unplugging them. The long cable is helpful too it gives me more room to set it up how I want. It was super easy to use, no setup needed, and it works fine with both Windows and Mac. The only small issues are that it’s very light and sometimes moves around, and the power plug doesn’t always feel super secure. But overall, it’s a great product for the price and really useful if you have a lot of USB devices.

Replacement - Worked Excellent, Ideal Streamline.
I purchased this item, May 03, 2022, but did not use it until the end of November 2022, (well beyond the return date) and it did not work-computers would not read. I posted in the review that there was a problem. The company, Vemont, to my amazement, reached out, stood behind their product and replaced it. Today, January 09, 2023, I received the replacement and immediately put it to use, and it work perfectly; ideal for what I wanted and how I wanted-streamline style fit for my office work area. It is a hassle-free setup - plug in and use. Excellent! I am, also, very impressed with the company, phenomenal support, and I appreciate what they did. A company that stands behind their products, as such, is a company I prefer to do my business. I will absolutely make purchases with them in the future. Thank you.

Nice BUT power adapter required
These are very handy items--we've purchased 6 so far. One ended up in the trash after a couple months, when it abruptly developed a flaky USB cord plug (that took an hour to track down when my project kept crashing.) But the main thing to know is that you MUST purchase a power cord for the hub, or else your charging power and possibly data signals will be divided by the number of active outlets you are using. With a wall wart 5V 2A supply (e.g. Yaizk brand 5V DC 2.0A Wall Adapter AC Power Supply 5V DC 2A 3.5mm/1.35mm) feeding the power input port, each outlet has full power. Failure to include a power supply cost them a star.

Very Useful
My computer is old enough that several of my USB ports are no longer viable, so the 7 USB Hub comes very much in handy. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Simple and powerful
I really appreciate having a bit of a longer cable rather than one that's only 6 in long so I can actually put this across my desk. I have a graphics tablet that I plug into this hub and I've had no issues with connection or any sort of data transfer problems. My favorite thing about this is the optional power port, so if you need to not only transfer data to your computer but also provides substantial amounts of power or charging, that is an option for an upgrade that you don't have to pay for built-in if you don't need it. The size is just right, with enough space in between each of the ports that if there's a bit of a thicker casing, it won't block any of the other ones.

Exactly what we needed!
I sell hearing aids for a big box chain store, and we need to recharge peoples' hearing aids each and every day before we deliver them. This hub beats having to insert regular plugs into a surge protector by a long shot! It would be nice to not need a power button for each port, and I'm not at all sure why this was necessary. It's still better than our previous system, though nobody ever turns off those buttons. Otherwise, we like the number of ports, and it works quickly enough for us. I could see where you wouldn't appreciate the bright blue lights in a bedroom at night, but in an office or work area it can look kind of spiffy.

Great for VR dongles
I bought this specifically for use with Vive trackers, which come from the factory with one receiver "dongle" per tracker. As I have 8 of these, it was getting to be quite a rats' nest, and also SteamVR has a bad habit of arbitrarily reassigning trackers or controllers to different receivers without notice. This product solved both issues: There are several spaces laid out next to each other - not too close - which allows me to get rid of all the factory USB bases and instead use this one hub, PLUS it has lighted, switched power for each socket, so I can turn on only the ones I plan to use, and can see from a distance whether I need to turn some on or off. Definitely would recommend to others for this purpose. I've had no interference problems, and no more fiddling around to remember which device connects to which receiver.
