Brow Define + Fill Duo

This is the only brow product I use. I’ve tried pomades, powders, sticks and liners and I always come back to this little Maybelline miracle. It has two heads: one is a pencil brow liner that goes on nice and smooth, and the other is a powder with a little sponge-tip applicator. The trick is to define the shape of your brow with the pencil and “fill in” with the powder. You can even use the pencil to simulate hairs if you have sparse brows (or over pluck trying to do your own brows like I do - haha!) Seriously I get compliments ALL THE TIME about how nice and natural my brows look. This is a staple, for sure.

Finding an auburn brow liner is always a chore.I stumbled upon this one in a Target in Austin, TX and as it was literally the only Auburn brow liner in the entire store I picked it up - and wow, I am so glad I did! The "pencil" portion is easy to use to get a nice defined line, while the other end evens out the color for a matte, natural look. The color is a perfect match for my hair (strawberry blonde) - absolutely love this product and make sure I always have a spare on hand!

This is my favorite and my go-to for the past few years! I am a dirty blonde (naturally) and my eyebrows are really light and I’ve over plucked them. So, when I dyed my hair auburn red several years ago, I didn’t realize I needed to fill in my brows, at first. But, now that I do..people tell me all the time they can’t tell red isn’t my natural color! The sponge end is great and would be enough if you didn’t need more brow help like me. I sponge first, then fill in with the pencil end, then I use an eyebrow brush to blend. This makes my eyebrows look natural, I love it.

I've tried most Mabelline's eyebrow products and this one is definitely not my favorite but still not bad. The pencil end allows for precise shaping, the powder end is a sponge tip and to release the product, you press downon your eyebrow a couple tone then use the sponge to distribute powder where desired along eyebrow. A pretty ingenious idea actually but unlike most of their other eyebrow products, you have to but a separate product to keep your brows in place. I like either the NYX briw wax stick or the Hard Candy Brow Gel and Highlighter. Better yet, I'll just stick to products these do it all!😉

This is the only color that works for my hair color. I am a strawberry blonde and have been using the Auburn shade for the past year. Recently when I tried to repurchase it at any store I could not find it. Thankfully I found it here on Amazon. I purchased two and will keep purchasing it through this seller as long as they have it. It’s perfect. Make sure you have a spool brush to brush the product through your brows, make them look a little more natural.

Not sure if the pencil is dried out or if that’s just how it is because I’m finding it really difficult to actually apply to my skin. It pulls what little brow hair I have out because the pencil is so hard. I’m used to brow pencils being softer and creamier, easier to apply. Twice since I started using the pencil it has broken off and rolled down my eye and face. I do, however, like the powder filler side. If the pencil was softer and applied better it would be a 5 star product. Additionally, the color is listed as “auburn”, but it’s definitely a light brown. There’s not really any tint of red in either side. I kind of like the color, but it’s not the color that I expected.

I don't know why they make Auburn so hard to find in stores. This is my favorite eyebrow cosmetic ever. I don't do other kinds of makeup, but being a natural redhead means my blondish eyebrows totally disappear in the sunlight and I hate it. This color matches my hair perfectly and takes less than a minute to apply. I only use the filler side. A winner!

I hate the feel of typical pencil style brow products. This is great because it feels more like a crayon on one side and then a powder via a soft applicator on the other side. I use both sides to get an even look. I do seem to run out of the crayon faster than the powder. The auburn is a great match for my red hair, which is difficult to find a good brow products for gingers.

The colour is nice. I have red hair so the lighter brown looks natural. The spongy filler tool really works well for filling in areas with no hair (thanks 90's overplucking) but the actual pencil tends to break off easily when applying. The pencil, therefore, wore out very quickly. Not a great value in the end.

The powder part dried up so fast. I don’t even use it anymore
