This device is by far the most effective device I’ve found to straighten hammer toes. I’ve tried several different devices, all were cheap and ineffective. This device pulls the hammer toe down and straightens it,you can feel the tendon that pulls the toe start to relax. It’s taken decades for the hammer toe to form so I don’t expect it will be fixed in a short time.the only drawback that I’ve found is the flat part of the device reaches out beyond the toes and makes it difficult to wear socks or shoes but the part beyond the toes can be trimmed off. Hopefully the manufacturer will make an adjustment for future models.

I purchased these splints to replace the one my podiatrist issued me for a hammer toe believing it was similar to the one I had received. This product is much more bulky, taking up valuable space in my footwear, causing my toe to push against the top of the shoe more than not having it on. The footprint of the lower pad appears to be designed for a pointed toe shoe, stretching out far beyond my feet, causing the pad to slip back, wedge into the area between my toes, creating more pain. The band does not stay in place and loosens immediately, not holding my toe in place as designed/intended.I do not recommend this product. It does not perform the function it was designed for and creates additional issues and more pain.

I have a very painful hammer toe. It makes life miserable. These help so much. The pain lessens as soon as I put one on it.There are problems though. One is that it's too long for my foot and makes walking a bit hazardous. I may try to cut it to size, but I don't know if it'll work. I'll update the post later.Another problem is that the thin piece of material attached to the bottom is already coming off. I'll have to peel it off or I may trip.All-in-all, it's not very good quality, making it over-priced. I doubt it will last being washed,but it suits the purpose of reducing the pain which is the most important thing.If it was better quality, I'd give it five stars.

These promptly arrived as described but do not seem to have a purpose for my feet problems. I can see though that they might help some people.

I love love love this product. The first day I put them on they were great. But I think I had them too tight. So the next day, I loosened them up from the back, and let my feet rest for a couple of days. Then when I tried them again, I loosened them quite a bit from the back and they provided a soft cushion for my toes that were regularly in so much pain. I will buy again and again.

Slipped off of my toes or else they were too tight and my circulation was cut off and it hurt so bad. It did nothing to keep my toes flat unfortunately.

If you have the misery of a hammertoe then you know how it inflames sometimes and it hurts to walk or run. There are several different products out there and I've tried them all. The wraps don't work, the crescent shaped wedge hurts, etc. This pad comfortably cushions the hammertoe so it rises above the big toe to provide instant relief. Fairly durable, machine washable and inexpensive. Yay!
