Review: Highly Recommend - 130+ recipes, all steps pictured, easy for kids (10+) to use with minimal supervision - Easy to follow instructions, usually 4-5 steps (all pictured) and great, simple recipes (lots of pictures, everything is shown). Over 300 pages, and over 130+ recipes. There are a few pages devoted to explaining cooking (an equipment guide, a guide breaking down different cooking techniques, how to prep ingredients) that were VERY useful. Kids don't know the difference between dice and grate, or boil and simmer. These few pages are amazing, TONS of pictures on each page. This cookbook was for my 10 year old daughter (4th Grade). She is able to read and follow the instructions all by herself; she's comfortable using knives but she's intimidated using the stove alone. So I would say ages 10+ for minimal-to-no supervision, and younger kids would need help from an adult (using knives, stove and oven use), but would still enjoy the recipes. There are 6-8 pictures on each page - tons of visual help. The first recipe my daughter made was French Toast (shockingly I had never made it before!), and she did it on her own. I literally just stood and watched, she really was able to do it all herself. She wasnt sure how to crack open an egg (HA!), so there was definately some guidance I provided, but it was a success, and so tasty! Then she tried the mini-hamburger sliders, and that turned out great too. She's also made smoothies, potato rosi (hash brown patties) and homemade potato chips. Lots and lots more that she wants to try! This book has a TON of recipes, and I feel like it would appeal to lots of different tastes. I gave this book as a gift, along with a set of popsicle molds, a popsicle shaped bookmark, and an apron. The molds are needed in one recipe in particular that I thought she would want to try. She LOVED it all. Highly recommended. Review: The best cooking book for kids out there - I've read pretty much every book in the category at the store, and this is by far the best. The number of recipes, the clear photographed explanations, the great results - everything about this book is perfect.

Great Cookbook for Kids
Wonderful cookbook for youngsters - recipes range from easy to more complicated, thus giving older kids a challenge. Lots of photos. Great instructions. A real winner. I am so pleaserd with this children's cookbook - could not be any better. I bought it for my grandson who is interested in cooking, along with a Chef's apron with his name on it.

Fun and Tasty Recipes for Young Chefs!
We gave this cookbook to our 9-year-old last Christmas (when he was 8), and let’s just say… we might’ve created a little chef! It’s packed with colorful photos and simple, step-by-step recipes that are actually doable and taste delicious. One of our favorite recipes from the book is a chocolate cake and icing recipe. Hands down one of the best cakes we’ve ever had! It’s been such a fun way to learn new skills together—and sneak in some quality time (plus yummy desserts). The book covers everything from snacks to mains to sweets, and my son loves flipping through it to pick what we’ll cook next. At $13.99, it’s been one of the most fun and useful gifts we’ve given. Totally recommend for any young food explorer! Hope this helps you find a great gift or activity for your young chef! 😊

Great children's cookbook
I bought this book for my 7 year old son who suddenly had an interest in cooking. We love it! The recipes are very child friendly. We like how the book provides information about utensils and methods. The recipes are easy to read and follow. They are organized in categories (e.g., breakfast, lunch, dessert). Of course, my son still needs help with using sharp utensils and the stove, but he enjoys prepping, measuring, and learning the process of cooking with this book.

This Is The One to Buy!
We keep our grandchildren every summer and school holiday. Our time is mostly spent teaching life skills and they love to cook. This cookbook is filled with step-by-step directions and photos. They will be able to make recipes almost completely on their own. They aren't too simple or too hard and there is a wide variety in choices. I wish this book had been available when our own kids were growing up. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this cookbook a 12!

Great cookbook for children to learn and enjoy making meals
My 10 year old daughter has already used some of the recipes with great results. I am impressed with how well organized each recipe page is. It really helped her in purchasing and getting the ingredients ready, working through each step and knowning when it is 'ok' to ask a parent to do a step dealing with the oven or stove. The high quality photos make the whole process easy and interesting. Last time, we made the bread from the book and then used the freshly baked bread to make the french toast from the recipe in a different section.

Unser Favorit!

Such a wonderful Book - perfect for lil Chefs!
Great recipes, step by step instructions and wonderful pictures. A true delight of a book. The paper quality is fantastic and the hardbound book does justice to the look and feel. My 5 year old nephew loved the book and we can't wait to cook from it!
