Flipper Aquarium Magnifying Glass, DeepSee Magnetic Viewer - Max 5" Black

OMG!! It’s like 3D viewing. I’ve heard how good these are but I really hesitated to spend the money, thinking they were pricey for a magnifying glass. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is amazing. The view of the corals and rock work is incredible. The fish up close is trippy but fun. I spent hours last night just moving the magnifier around and watching and seeing things I’ve never seen before. I even added the orange filter they have…that’s a different review though. I can’t wait to get my camera set up and begin photographing! Get this. You won’t regret it!!

Is it expensive? Yes! Is it a quality product that functions in the way it was intended, absolutely! It is amazing how far in you can see the tank and how clear everything stays. It does not feel cheap it is well built and heavy. It does come with a magnet to place inside the tank and it is insanely strong, seriously if you have a thin tank don’t slam it! Slide the magnets together. Personally I take this from tank to tank so instead of using the provided magnet I attach it to the magnet algae scraper I already have on that tank. I breed neocaridina and Caridina shrimp so seeing them in a larger size really helps with eye strain.

"OMG" I never realized what I was missing!!! I ordered the 5 inch. As you can see in the picture I posted, the size of the 5 inch laying on a magazine to put it in perspective. The magnet is plenty strong to hold it in place, the magnification from the front of my tank to the back is perfect! The details I can see thru the flipper are astonishing. I'm a 30 + year marine aquarium hobbyist and with the flipper I'm seeing my corals, invertebrates and fish in a whole new light, not to mention all of the tinyist of life I have been missing but now can see. If you want to see your marine environment like it's the first time ever, look at it thru a flipper magnifying lenz!! You won't be disappointed as the " what is that? " " wow " " oh wow " " hunnie come look at this! " and many other reactions begin to flow!!!

As advertised, but I don’t use the light or orange filter items which made this transaction more expensive. I would only purchase the magnifier and avoid the more expensive bundles to realize value in your transaction

Great for closer exam of your fish!!!! I was able to diagnose my fish!! They had ICK!!!!

I have been keeping a saltwater aquarium for along time and am amazed at how this shows the detail on even the most common corals. It was like getting all new coral for a fraction of the price. The quality is good and the magnet attaches to the inside so the magnifying glass stays clean. I just slide it off to the side and out of the way when it’s not in use. It also works on my wife’s chameleon enclosure so I’m buying another one of my own;)

This works great, not only for enjoyment of close up viewing of your fish but also catching any signs of possible health issues that may be just starting. I have 35 fish tanks and at 70 year's old my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.

The large one is a nice window into the tank. It has a surprising depth of focus as well. The most notable thing I don’t like is the overly large and in-your-face Flipper logo. It is really overkill. I’m going to try to remove it with some acetone. Note the glass goes on the outside of the tank. The magnet is strong. However it will generally hang in a vertical position because of the weight of the glass. It is easy to rotate though the strength of the magnet makes it less smooth to reposition.

Das ist die beste Anschaffung überhaupt würde ich jeden empfehlen zu kaufen. Jetzt kann man die Fische und Co besser und intensiver beobachten!!!

Durability easy to use

Good clarity & excellent magnifier!

Demasiado caro, para lo que es. Una simple lupa grande
