I got this after I lost my surface pro 7 pen and didn't want to spend so much on a replacement. I'm really glad I got this! It worked straight away when the battery was put in. It's easier to hold than the surface pen and the actual point of the pen feels thinner. It occasionally needs a go over on the writing because little parts don't connect, but that's only sometimes. The pen also comes with a tip removal tool and two replacement tips as well as the battery. The top doesn't act as an eraser so you have to select eraser on your screen, but that doesn't bother me. From some other reviews I was worried about overheating, but I've had no such problem. Overall, a fantastic buy and I'm really pleased I didn't fork out loads for another surface pen when this does the job just fine!

Can't understand the bad feedback, it is a brilliant pen, it worked straight out of the box and connected to 2 devices at the same time without having to do anything!!!! its been working all day no problems with anything and battery not heating up. I don't think it has the rubber but I don't use it on my surface pen anyway ( which is in the office and I can't get it)

So great got it as a replacement until my old one got fixed, Still use it now my old one is fixed.

Just as what I expected

After losing two Microsoft Surface pens, I thought I would try a cheaper one.I must say that I regret this:- Accuracy is not as good. With a pen, the very slight inaccuracy is grating every time I use it, and makes writing less neat- Placement of the battery at the end of the pen (far side from the tip) together with the pen itself being fairly light, means it is top heavy. Again, I find this quite annoying when writing with the penBut in it's favour is the fact it costs a fraction of the price of the official Microsoft Surface pen. You get what you pay for, though, IMHO.

Purchase side of the pen works tip doesn't. Tried everything. Even looked tutorials how to fix not responsive Pen..Just going to Purchase one that does work

Everything works as I hoped. The buttons are really useful and easy to get used to, so writing and drawing is fluid. It hasn't even run out of battery since I got it in January. Careful not to lose the replacement tips like I did!
