Question 1

What velocity is required to burst ball?

Accepted Answer

Anything over 300 FPS will break the SD round upon impact. Variables include distance from assailant and the lower FPS disperses a smaller Pava dust radius. I use Pepperball TCP which has adjustable velocity and a rifled barrel which increases accuracy and range significantly up to 100 feet from target. Through experimentation I've found the TCPs sweet spot to be one and a half turns over factory setting or 430 FPS. No broken balls in the TCP Launcher and a Pava dust radius of about 8 feet. Also leaves one helluva bruise. The Live SD rounds contain 2% Pava which should be sufficient. However I prefer the 5% Pava Live X rounds as they are the exact rounds used by Police Forces worldwide and the U.S. Military. I also recommend Grimburg Kinetic rounds. Tremendous stopping power in the mag fed TCP
I load the 5 round mag with a Live X round 1st out the barrel followed by a Grimburg, then Live X , Grimburg, endive X. Not knowing your launcher type and tendencies I hope this gives some guidance. The Live SD rounds are adequate and will break upon impact at 300 FPS muzzle velocity.

Question 2

Will these work with a Empire Axe 2.0 marker with a Spire 3 hopper set up?

Accepted Answer

I have no Earthly idea as I am not familiar with those markers. I use a Pepperball TCP which is specifically designed for these rounds. The sweet spot on my TCP is 430 FPS. A Minimum of 300 FPS Chrony muzzle velocity is necessary to guarentee Round breakage and adequate dust radius dispersal. Note: the Pepperball TCP has a rifled barrel which increases straight line accuracy up to 150 feet.

Question 3

Can you use these in 43 caliber pistol?

Accepted Answer

no these are .68 cal

Question 4

Will they melt in a hot car? if it in the 95

Accepted Answer
