Higher State Soil Shaker Trail Running Shoes Perfect for fell and mountain running, the Soil Shaker with an 8mm drop, rugged outsole and mesh upper will tear through the mud with ease while offering maximum cushioning and ventilation. Closed Mesh Upper Constructed with a closed mesh upper, the Soil Shaker will provide maximum durability against sharp debris, while still ensuring much-needed ventilation to keep your feet feeling cool and comfortable during trail runs. The traditional lace-up closure and gusseted tongue pair up to prevent loose debris from entering the shoe, ensuring ultimate comfort by eliminating any distractions. A reinforced toe bumper defends feet against loose rocks and jagged ground, plus the reinforced heel design is built for optimal support while descending and contouring, enabling a faster run with greater confidence. A padded tongue and heel complete the upper, adding soft support and reducing the risk of rubbing and blisters, because we know how those can ruin your day. Moulded EVA Midsole The moulded EVA footbed offers extra cushioning as well as anatomical support, fitting the shape and size of your foot to ensure ultimate comfort. Additionally, the moulded EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning to ensure a smooth ride, especially on difficult or unpredictable terrain. Having ample cushioning will ensure a more enjoyable, comfortable run as you can maximise both focus and performance. Soil Shaker Outsole Rigorously tested in all conditions, the Soil Shaker's outsole is designed with a perfect blend of rubber compound to deliver supreme grip on a variety of terrains, from deep mud to wet rock, while still providing excellent durability. A flex groove adorns the forefoot to encourage natural flexion during the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. The grippy rubber outsole is designed with ultra-aggressive 8mm multi-directional lugs to give you supreme traction during extreme conditions. Shoe Review The Higher State Soil Shak

Probably good for running, not for much else.
I got these shoes after trying some very similar on in store that were very comfortable. These however weren't, I work in an office and so am sat most of the day and they just got more uncomfortable throughout the day. I assumed this was because they're meant for staying active in so brushed it off. Before and after work however I walk nearly a mile and in only 9 months the sides have started to come apart. I wouldn't say they've been overextended to any degree, the most is a steep incline at the beggining of the walk home which when the stone/slab is wet is very difficult as they have very little grip on this surface, which is another issue. I had assumed being trial shoes they'd have managed wet stone well, but guess it's better for grass/mud.Overall probably bought them for the wrong surfaces/activity but not even lasting a year of walking on mostly pavement/slab is very unimpressive.

Narrow shapeless shoe
Takes a long time to arrive. If you have feet as straight as a ruler these are fine. But buy two sizes up if you have normal feet. Soles have zero cusioning so you also need room in the shoe to add insoles making the experience of wearing the shoe a pressure cooker... yet oddly my feet still slide around inside. I always look forward to taking these shoes off and my heels are killing.

Incredible value for money! Perfect for OCR
Purchased these few days ago to use today for the Winter Wolf Run obstacle course race. They fitted perfectly as a size 8. Very comfortable natural fit for me. I found that the sole/heal doesn’t have much cushioning when walking on pavement, but for today’s soft ground race it wasn’t an issue. I’m susceptible to shin splints from wrong shoe types but today no issues from 6miles. Awesome grip on wet grass, mud, and hard obstacles - not a single slip, slide, or ankle wobble in today’s race. Side of foot gave solid traction on climbing obstacles; not so sure about toe. For the price these were are a bargain compared to other trail shoes where you can’t face spending big money to put them through something as rough as Wolf Run.

Cheap shoe 👞
These are inexpensive and poorly made shoes which fell apart after wearing 10-12 times. The inner heel came apart and plastic caused blisters. Slow response from seller also no refund offered after several requests. Spend more and get a better shoe fulfilled by Amazon so return won’t ever become an issue.

Well worth it
Comfy shoes only wore them for a short run so far and more than happy with the shoes. Feel robust and have a great grip. Excellent service and value.

Anyone for football?
Sturdy but a bit like running in football boots. If that's what you're looking for these will be ideal.
