Don’t waste your time. Seriously. Read ANYTHING else.
I have over 30 years of consulting experience in this area including as an exec at a big five and this is hands down the worst OD/ change related book I’ve ever read. It may be useful if you know nothing about OD, but even then it’s off base on a variety of topics (does not correctly describe how coaching is used, include Myers-Briggs without explaining it’s not research l-based). This book was required for a class in my doctoral program and I am so disappointed I had to waste my time on it. Get Peter Block’s books and something from Peter Senge instead. Also, if you’re a consultant using checklists like this, you should be under the supervision of someone not using checklists. There are so many solid books out there, this just feels cobbled together without real checks on the content.
