Very very happy with this beautiful moss!
I'm not sure why the writing prompt wants me to mention thickness and warmth lol! It's moss! Not a blanket!Anyway! I attached several pictures because I was surprised at how much moss came out of the cup! It was packed in there! But, it was "happy" too. It wasn't smashed or anything. I added a wine bottle next to the cup just for size reference. The only problem with the pictures is that I feel the quantity of the moss isn't well represented. I felt like I got a whole lot of moss, and the pictures don't really show that.I took the moss out of the cup and put it in a plastic cup with purified alkaline water. I was going to quarantine and disinfect it with seachem prime and potassium parmanganate (as I do with all my aquatic plants before adding them to my pristine aquarium). However, I decided that a simple 7 day quarantine in the alkaline water was good enough because of the wonderful quality of the moss. There were absolutely NO bugs, nor nasty things of any kind. When I was ready to add it to my aquarium I took it out of the cup and gently pulled apart a few bundles. Using some twine that I boiled to disinfect, I wrapped one bundle around this aquarium safe bendable stick I have (which already had a very small amount of moss on it), and I wrapped some plastic mesh around another bundle which I added a few rocks into so it would sink. In a few months I'm hoping for a moss bush. And I just tucked another smaller bundle underneath an ornament. It looks great! It's been just a few weeks and I see new growth on the stick and a bit poking out of the plastic mesh in several spots. The bit I tucked looks relaxed and is making its way out and around.I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Since I've added it to my tank, my Molly has given birth and at least 4 fry have survived! Before the moss, another of my Molly's gave birth and only 1 survived!I'm not in the breeding business, but, I do want to give the creatures I care for the best possible life, and if they are having babies and those babies are surviving and thriving, I'm doing something right.I highly, highly recommend this seller and their moss. Thank you.

Please put in a package too big for mailboxes
I’m not sure what the quality was because the deliverer ignored the no mailbox sticker. I recognize that you tried to prevent them from doing that, but people make mistakes. It would be better to put the box in an envelope too big to fit in a mailbox so the mistake isn’t possible.I trust that it would have been a good product if it were alive, which is why I’m still leaving 4 stars. It looked thick and the container was well packed, so you were definitely delivering what was advertised. I also like the container you sent and I have been using it for other things now.

Plant didn’t really survive after a few days
So packaging was alright. Came in a little hard plastic cup with a lid plant arrived kinda squished in but there was a lot of it. However two days after being put into quarantine it’s turned brown and sad. I don’t think it’s going to make it but I have hope for some of the little green bits left and like most plants it’s not until it’s mush and beyond saving that it’s time to give up I guess. Think it got far too warm sitting in the box during shipping I’m sure. ( yay 90F days ) The product was probably happy an healthy prior to shipping so my qualm is with how they ship and what not. Moss was definitely dirty too (rinsed gently and thouroughly in dechlorinated room temp water) in a bowl. Will update if it survives and comes back.

Just got it 2 orders on November 20, 2020. Looking good.
I was surprised to see that they filled the 4 oz cup very well I was happy with the amount. But I am also glad I purchased 2 orders 4 Oz is well 4 Oz.. It survived it's trip very well, I was a little worried since it did take 10 days to arrive and the weather is cooling so fast.Of course it's just a twisted clump of it now. But Java fern is suppose to grow fast so I am excited. Since I have a well established aquarium with no snails, I am treating it with ParaGard to kill any unwanted organism such as snails and any micros such as Ick (JUST IN CASE). I don't know if after the ParaGard treatment if I should treat it in an algaecide. In the past my tanks have been infected with green hair like algae that was very very difficult to treat.I am happy with my orders, but I don't think I will have to order Java Fern again because it's reported to be a fast growing plant. If I remember I will will send photos and update this posting. I felt like this was a great price for this plant.Thank you,Todd Delaroderie10 days ago I picked out all the "greener" pieces and throw out all the brown pieces. I still had a nice amount. I made a light wire webbing out of light weight wire. This is my first time at this. I placed the bulk of the moss in the webbing and twisted it up to hold it in place.Ok, maybe I damaged it a little while quarantining it with ParaGard and/or wrapped it up too tight. It's alive and seems to be growing. But it's not a brilliant green but any stretch of the imagination. It's not brow either, just a brownish green if that's possible. My cherry shrimps love it. The moss is covering up the wires so you can no longer see them. It seems to be growing. I'll update in another week or 2. Hopefully, this will help set what you will experience as well.Sincerely,Todd Delaroderie

Not sure if it will survive, sadly….
The media could not be loaded. I received this Java Moss within 3 days from the seller. I got it out of the mail carrier’s hands as he scanned it as delivered before he took it out of his truck. I took it home and my first observation was that it was mostly a light tan with some green pieces of moss. I immediately took it out of the cup and rinsed it well. I already had a tank of treated aquarium water, a heater and small filter ready to go upon its arrival yesterday…. I move it around every so often to make sure it gets air through it hoping it will green up. I’m not sure if that’s possible as I am not a moss expert. I would need the advice of the seller as to whether to chuck it in the trash or put it in my tank. 🤷🏼♀️
