Still the perfect readers even after 5 years!
I bought these for my mother 5 years ago, and she's hard on her glasses, and had lost or broken dozens of pairs. I didn't expect them to last, but it was a last ditch effort, and it was probably the best gift I'd ever given her, and I CARE about giving good gifts. They're so easy to wear, and the perfect balance between structured fit and flexibility, she's often slept with them on, and didn't notice. She hasn't lost them in all this time! They're tough enough that they've never broken, even being slept on, dropped, stepped on, worn in the shower by accident and gnawed by cats. The lenses haven't even been seriously scratched, and that's a miracle! I got them in red, for visibility, as I do often for her (the ADHD is strong in our family), and the color is still vibrant, and she gets lots of compliments about how amazing the concept is, and how nice they look, especially by medical professionals. The tiny inset barrel magnets are just strong enough to click securely together, but not so strong that pulling them apart is a struggle or a stress on the frame. You can see how easily the halves fold in the photos, and how thick and secure the magnets are. The only things I think you should carefully consider when you buy them is the size of your head, and the magnifying power you need, because you'll be wearing these FOREVER.

Great for chronic glasses misplacers
I was a little reluctant at first to buy these, since I can get other readers for a lot less online or at the store. However, I'm forever loosing my standard readers when I remove them. (Chains were too long and in my way, when I would store them on my head they would fog up from riding around on my overheating menopausal head, and into a pocket or on the table it was too easy for me to forget them.) Haven't lost my readers since I got these, I have found them to be solidly constructed so far. A little tight at first but they don't feel too narrow after a few wears. Also my 5 and 7 year old nephews are obsessed with them.

Convenient
These are great pair of readers they just hang around your neck there's a magnet in the middle so you can take them off your face and just leave them around your neck and you won't lose them

help for hanging onto those glasses!
I use reading glasses for my work on the computer and for any kind of close-up reading. I'm constantly putting on or taking off my glasses to switch from close-up to distance. As a result, I've damaged or lost several pairs of glasses over the years because they fell out of my shirt or off the top of my head where I'd pushed them to get them out of the way. I also sweat fairly easily (and live in a climate that's hot much of the year) and glasses tend to slip down my nose and fall off. I've tried straps and other ways of hanging the glasses around my neck, but haven't been happy with them. Now I've got Clic's "front connect" reading glasses. These solve all the above problems for me, and they're comfortable to wear all day. I can adjust the band around the back just enough to keep them from sliding down my nose without being uncomfortably close. When I want to switch from close-up to distance vision, I just pull the lenses apart, slip them down to hang around my neck and the magnets find each other and snap back together. No more lost glasses! It's fun watching people's expressions when I break the glasses to slip them down to my neck, or when I put them back on again. The magnets hold surprisingly well. The glasses have never broken apart during normal wearing unless I want them to. One inconvenience I couldn't have appreciated before trying them out is that it's more awkward to slip these on and off with just one hand. I can usually slip any regular glasses on and off with one hand. With the Clic glasses it's just a little more awkward to take them off with one hand, and I'm getting pretty good at that. But it's really not easy to put them on without using both hands, because you have to line up the lenses and push them together so the magnets engage. One other difference from regular glasses is that you can't fold them into any kind of a normal eyeglass case for storage or travel. You either wear them, or you set them on a table, or you hang them on a hook. I'll certainly take them traveling, but my spare pair will have to be the old style that fits in a compact travel case. All the same, I'm so glad to find these that I bought 4 pairs, so I'd have a spare in the bedroom, garage workshop, and my office. I wish Clic would price their sunglasses a lot more reasonably, I'd like to get those too.

Where's my glasses?
Quit looking for your glasses! Always around neck, however, if wearing a pony you will have to adjust. Clic does make a necklace type (unibody) that would probably fix this annoyance. I will try somdeday.

If there to close to your eyes they will fog up
You canโt adjust the distance from your eyes to your ears because itโs a plastic mold around your head

Sturdy and Great Conversation starters!
My husband uses these glasses faithfully and he loves them. He has bought many pairs so that he has them everywhere! (But mostly because he loses them!) They are durable. The magnet works perfectly to click them together, he has old pairs that still work like the first day he got them! Every time he clicks them on at a restaurant or a cash register someone notices and it starts a conversation.
