This item is not made using stainless steel hardware. Mine came to me rusted upon arrival. For an item that gets wet, as often as these do, it's unforgivable that it's made out of materials that so easily rust.

This cutter is great for beginners or for small projects. It arrived packaged well and as described. The blade on the plainer was rusted but, my husband sanded it and looks pretty good now.
