Bought this as a gift for a guy with a Truck. His phone holder was low to the console....always bending over to look at his phone. I searched and found this one. It came in the most beautiful box....perfect gift! So easy to adjust and remove. After he had it, and I saw how great it was.....I bought 2 for my sedans. I love them. Phone is right there up high , no longer squinting at the dashboard. It can be adjusted lower, if you need it. If you get a different vehicle, it transfers and adjust to any vehicle.

If you're expecting something exceptional then this is not the product you need to buy it is a little flimsy but if you treat it well it will last and it will definitely do the job I've had mine for 6 months and I really like it great price for what you get

So I needed a phone holder because my car is older and there wasn't a great place to put a suction cup holder and I dislike the vent holders (makes my phone hot). So, this was perfect. Fits well in the cup holder, I actually have it in a pull out cup holder which makes it's location to the driver perfect. This unit does need some tweeks. I'm still on the fence if I'l going to keep using this. Here's the problems: 1. I had to take my pop socket off the back of my phone for it to fit. There wasn't enough clearance for it to sit in the holder with it on. (that's a drawback). 2. The little pull out (foot holder) that supports your phone's bottom isn't long enough. My phone barely fits on it and it's quite awkward. 3. My phone is 6" x 3" and it sits very high in the holder. The side brackets that hold the phone hold it just below the middle of the phone. I can't adjust it because of the bottom foot rest (lets call it that). 4. The brackets that hold the phone in is wierdly designed. Theres a button on the back you press and it Slowly opens the brackets, then you use your hands to close the brackets around your phone. But, when you want to remove your phone, you have to reach around and try to feel for that button and it doesn't always respond. This definitely needs a redesign. I like how it sits high and you can adjust the height it sits as well as the angle. But, not liking the way it holds my phone and that I can't get it out of the holder easily when exiting my car. Still on the fence if I will keep this and just deal with it or return it and find something else. Hating I can't have a popsocket on my phone and use this holder, I got used to the popsocket and it has saved me from dropping my phone.

For the cup-holder type of phone holder -- this is probably the best on amazon. Base does a great job of expanding out and fitting the cup.. neck is sturdy and very adjustable - and holder is very good. Everything is both well designed, and sturdy in build quality. This did not work for my VW as it got in the way of my shifter and other center controls but that's on me - literally anything cup-holder oriented on my car would block everything as the cup-holders are in-line and very close to my shifter so I down-vote myself for not being more insightful on that. For other vehicles, especially with cup-holders that are side-by-side or ones further back - this would work perfectly.

After searching for cup holder phone mounts, and seeing the outrageous prices others were charging, I ordered this product. Setup was simple, functions as advertised. I would recommend this product. Update: On June 9, 2021, I purchased this cup holder. For a year, I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Just shy of one year, I needed a replacement for this item. I contacted LorimaDirect and began a wonderful experience with a member of the company. In less than a day, I received word that that I would receive a replacement free of charge. That was on June 2, 2022. I am happy to report that I received the replacement item on June 5, 2022. That is blazing fast. Three days from request to receiving the item! Lorima represents the BEST in customer service. I was updated regularly on the progress of the replacement, and not by an auto-generated email, but by a real person. The replacement item has improved some of the features, making it even more durable and sturdy than it was. I would strongly encourage that everyone READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! It was only after receiving the replacement item that I realized that in order to fasten the actual phone holder plate to the unit that it needs to be snapped on and pushed down in order to lock it and prevent it from falling off the unit. Secondly, I never realized that the bottom wing of the phone holder plate (where the USB cable goes through) is actually adjustable via a button on the back side of this plate. Both of these features were available on my old unit, which I still have. It is my own fault for not having read the instructions completely. I have to disagree with the majority of the negative reviews. With the exception of those who received a defective unit, I believe that most, if not all the issues encountered could be remedied by either: 1) remembering to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, and/or 2) contacting customer service I am completely satisfied with the product. It has all the features of those marketed by the larger companies, but for a very reasonable price. I compared this item to those from other, larger companies prior to purchasing from LorimaDirect. In my opinion, there is no reason to pay upwards of $60 or more for a cupholder from another company, when for substantially less, you get the same product with the same features. Definitely 5 STARS ALL AROUND !!!

This is probably one of the best phone cup holders I've ever purchased but it definitely has a design flaw. It is easy to set up, expands to fit the cup holder perfectly, and is very sturdy. There is no wiggle or rocking when driving which I love. I have purchased quite a few mobile phone holders in the past but all were unstable. The design flaw is that where the phone pad attaches to the actual holder, the groves are not secure enough and when you attempt to move the phone from the pad the entire pad dislodges from the holder. Now sure how this can be remedied but I hope I don't have to send it back due to this problem. I ordered this as a new item but I'm thinking that maybe I received an item that had been returned and was shipped to me with maybe missing adhesive or something. The holder was mailed in an envelope that was too small for the package so was opened at the top with the envelope flap unsealed. Also, the holder shipping box was crushed and gapping. Either way if I can't fix it I will send it back for a replacement.

I bought this holder primarily for my boat. I have an app that runs on my phone (Samsung S8+) that monitors a lot of engine functions. I tested it first in my truck for a few days to judge how well it grips the phone and holds into the cup holder. Passing that test I moved it to the boat. It gets bounced, jarred and jostled a lot more in the boat than in the truck, but I have to say it never came loose. The holder grips the phone securely and stays locked into the cup holder even bouncing hard over waves and wakes. And the adjustable arm stays where you set it. All of the buttons on the phone are still accessible while in the holder. It's nice to have this kind of confidence in a product. It's nice to know I don't have to worry about my phone going overboard. If it does this well in a boat, you can rest assured it will be fine in your road vehicle.

If you can't apply a window or dashboard sticky phone holder because you live in a state that breaks 100 F at the start of spring, then you should probably try a cupholder phone holder. This one is of good quality materials and has a lot of customization. As shown in the seller pictures, it's neck is extendable and fully adjustable. It snaps/clicks in a full 360 radius at the bottom of the neck to turn it any direction you want. The installation is very easy. Just put it in the cup holder and turn the nob until it's tight. (The product is primarily made of plastic, so don't overtighten) The packaging it came in was nice and something I'd imagine getting from a generic walk-in store or online shopping specific store. The reason for the 4 stars. The product is overall very nice. However, the phone holder pivot joint tends to be loose and adjustable even when you tighten it quite a bit. It's made of plastic as well, so I don't overtighten it in fear of breaking it. Just a heads up that if you tighten it substantially, it's still subject to turn/move on the phone holder pivot joint if you bump it or have some tough terrain you're driving over.

very sturdy and stable. But the design of the mount has an issue. the lock mechanism to keep the phone mount is 4 pin that you need to adjust. but when you want to remove the phone fast, it comes also with the mount, as i believe it needs to add 5th pin to hold it in place. its still a good product, but the mount it self need to be locked with the holder, i keep removing my phone and it's just attached to my phone all the time

It fits the cup holder area however the whole structure wobbles a-lot and your phone dances in the air left and right, additionally the tightening ring is loose so it make also wobbly noises i expected to be sturdy but it wasn't at all, it kind of does the job but i hated it
