AquaDance 7" Premium High Pressure 3-way Rain & Handheld Shower Head Combo

I rarely leave reviews. But it seems like this type of shower head is getting more and more rare to find, instead all that's out there is the stupid rainwater type with zero pressure as the main head and no ability to angle the main head. This one gives you so many options in both the main and side head, the water pressure is fantastic on both, and you can angle the main head quite a bit. The setup is super super simple and the quality is pretty fantastic, all for a very decent price. I bought one a year ago for that apartment and bought another one this year because I liked it so much. Had to leave a review to support what is again an unfortunately rare type of shower head these days.

Excellent shower head - I am glad I chose it amongst others. Pros: 1. Great price, actual performance better than items more than double the cost. 2. Easy installation, clear, succinct instructions. Even some like me, with little or no plumbing skills, took less than 10 minutes to install this perfectly. Full disclosure, I am not a great fan of Teflon tape, so didn't use the Teflon tape that was in the box. I separately purchased RectorSeal T Plus 2 23710 Pipe Thread Sealant from Amazon, which worked great for this installation. 3. Performance and aesthetics: This has the looks and finish of a much more expensive shower head. Both the main shower and the handheld have rotating rings for adjusting the flow. I just tested them in a long, comfortable shower and I found the flow, pressure and adjustment settings perfect. Cons: None that I could see. Except perhaps the Teflon tape could be replaced with a tube of thread sealing paste. Summary: This is an excellent choice. I highly recommend this for purchase.

Let me start by saying, overall, I love this shower set! I do have a couple of small issues with it, but I think it was a good buy. It is very attractive, but if you're looking for something completely brushed nickel, this may not be the one for you. The back side of the shower head and the hand-held part are brushed nickel, as is the hose. But the "face" of each of the shower heads - which, essentially is the part you see most - is chrome finish. I don't mind it really myself as the overall effect is pretty, and this is in a tub/shower combo with a shower curtain, so it isn't "on display" as it would be in a shower with a glass door, but I paid almost $20 extra for the brushed nickel finish, and if I were to buy it again, I would probably just order the chrome finish and save the money. Installation was very easy and only took a few minutes. I did remove the water regulator, and that was very easy too (I've had some that were nearly impossible to remove, so I was pleasantly surprised with this one!) The main shower head is larger than I expected and gives that sort of "rain shower" effect. I haven't had any problems with water pressure - in fact it's much better than the old shower head I had, but again I did remove the water regulator so that may be a factor. The shower has a myriad of settings, though I confess I pretty much leave it on the same settings all the time, and just switch to the handheld part for cleaning the tub. That brings me to my only other complaint, and that is, the hose for the handheld section is not terribly long. I can use it to clean the far side of the tub though, so it's good for what I purchased it for. But if I were trying to bathe my dog, for example, I think it would be a bit too short. Overall I really like this shower and would absolutely buy it again!

This shower head is just as described. Love the width of the shower head, the pressure is excellent, and it is very relaxing without being too much. The big shower head covers your whole body with water, which I also love. Prior to this purchase, I purchased 2 different high end shower heads and they were no where near the performance and durability of this one. Installation is super easy. This has been by far the best shower head that I have ever purchased. Highly recommend!

Actually increases water pressure and is absolutely amazing! Super simple to install - no tools needed. And the multiple spray patterns on both the main head and hand-held head are incredible. It’s also a great value. Highly recommended.

The concept is good of being able to have both a 'mail' shower head and a hand-held hose. The water pressure is great and the choice of sprays for both are great. It was pretty to install. HOWEVER, it has TWO major flaws: 1. It is DANGEROUS because the 'holder' for the handheld is poorly made and does not hold the hose securely at all. The holder just BARELY holds the hose at the very bottom of the handle. The problem is the shower hose is "top heavy" as all are. No matter how you set the hose up in the handle or how you 'angle' the handle, the hand-held hose can FALL down randomly (possibly on your HEAD). You have to set it in the holder 'exactly' correctly and try to "balance" it in the holder and make sure you don't accidentally "bump" the hose while shower or the hand-held will fly out of the holder suddenly, either knocking you on the head or giving you a bad scare as you "dodge" a falling projectile in the shower. For the shower hose holder, they really just put "barely enough" plastic there to claim there's something to hold the hose, but it just doesn't work at all. It would make more sense to make the "holder" wide enough to hold the hand-held closer to the top instead of at the bottom, where it can easily "tip over", fall down, and knock you upside the head. I have to MAKE SURE I have removed the handheld from the holder before I switch the water to the hand-held, otherwise the force of the water will cause the hand-held to move out of it's holder and come flying down. I've had it installed a few days and the hand-held just "falls down" whenever it wants, no matter how I angle the holder. It's VERY dangerous. Because I like the shower setup overall, I'm going to by a separate shower hose holder that has a hook WIDE enough to actually HOLD the hand-held hose securely and maybe down at a lower (safer) height - before I end up with a concussion from the hand-held falling down on my head 2. WHERE the holder for the handheld is located is actually very awkward. It can be difficult to try to reach up there and AROUND the larger shower head to try to hang the hose back up. The hose can get "hooked" around the main large shower head, so you can't really just hang the hand-held back up there with your eyes closed. 3. The switch to change from the main shower head to the hand-held is all the way at the top of the main shower head and almost "buried" underneath it. It's very awkward trying to reach up there and "fiddle around" trying to find the switch, and if a person is short, they are not going to be able to reach it at all. This switch should be placed some place easier to reach and find, like on the edge or top of the main shower head. The concept is great and overall "OK" value for the money, but there are some major design flaws that need to be worked out. I was disappointed bought another AquaDance shower head days before that was a "handheld hose only" model that works great and does just "fall out" of the holder randomly.

Simply the best showerhead - bang for your buck. Pop the limiter out of his bad boy and you will be showering under a waterfall. Mine has lasted 5+ years without an issue. I buy them as gifts for friends (mainly so I can shower comfortably at their place). Both heads can have significant pressure together, or absurd pressure individually. It has several different flow settings, and one of the shower heads detaches as a wand. This shower head does it all at a fantastic price.

Did not like that it wasn’t a complete shower set up with face plate, on off valve/handle.

Funciona bien con baja presión de agua. Necesitaba mayor caudal para que se encendiera mi calentador de agua. Es de plástico. No sé cuánto durará, ya que tiene dos cabezales grandes en un soporte de plástico.Sería mejor si el soporte fuera de metal. Funciona bien para lo que lo necesitaba.

No la recomiendo. Duró solo un año. Un día empezó a salir agua disparada hacia el techo y al querer ajustarla, se rompió completamente. Lo único que está hecho de acero inoxidable es la manguera de la regadera de mano. Todo lo demás es de plástico. Por el precio, hay regaderas de mejor calidad.
