Yeah did the job I connected my external hard drive to it and laptop worked 1st time It’s small and light weight It does the job it’s supposed to do so no problem

Brilliant, easy to use, saved the day when the computer self destructed. Quick and easy to recover the contents of the hard drive to another computer. It’s nice and compact to keep now in the draw incase we ever need to use again, and wasn’t overly expensive considering the fact it saved all the data off the computer without having to pay a computer shop to try recover it.

Works ok build quality ok bit over priced for what it is but fit for purpose.

Been looking for a way to get old music files from an old computer and came across this brilliant piece of gear. Has everything I needed for connecting the hard drive and accessed the files very quickly. Definitely recommend this and such great value for money. 5☆s

Very easy to set up and fit to MOST of my old hard drives, however several were not compatible which was most disappointing

Allowed me to reuse CD players with IDE connector on devices without it. And HDD drives as backup storage.

Dropped a 6tb hard drive with ALL my music on there. Was quoted £400 to rescue the hard drive Looked at this and for the price it's worth a punt. Once I'd figured out where to do the connection it was as quick as a click. All music rescued. The product is totally recommended but persevere if it's not obvious

Funciona de maravilla, aunque no he probado la función de auto respaldo todavía. Lo que si me deja un poquito insatisfecho es que el material se siente un poquito delicado, entiendase, no es de uso rudo, hay que tratarlo con cuiado, pero tampoco es que se vaya a romper en cualquier momento.

My very old DELL Windows XP computer refused to start up, and I was convinced that all was lost. In a desperate last attempt, I decided to use this adapter kit to connect the IDE HD to my new Windows 11 computer via a USB cable. To my absolute amazement, the old hard drive that had been sitting idle on my counter sprang back to life. While I can't speak for the cloning feature since I haven't tried it yet, this adapter kit has proved to be nothing short of amazing. It has given my ancient hard drive a new lease on life and allowed me to access all the valuable data stored on it.

I had a bunch of old drives I just couldn't get working. First go with this kit, the drives fired up and I recovered pics and documents. Worked as promised for me.
