Monster High: 13 Wishes - Nintendo Wii U

If your a fan of the "Monster High" franchise, then you will like this game...if not, prolly notsamuch!First off let me say that this game is head's above previous MH games (I know, that's not saying much). I guess you could describe it as a 3D platformer with light puzzle action (emphasis on light) - think a junior version of Tomb Raider. There are also the standard "find/retrieve" quests in-between levels. These mainly consist of retrieving various objects from lockers.Gameplay is very simplistic and squarely aimed at the younger gamer, so don't expect 10 button combos.The graphics are acceptable, characters look like the dolls/webisodes...but the environments are HUGE and EMPTY. The sparse landscape lends itself well to the desert areas, but the school/palace look like they've been closed for summer vacation or abandoned...devoid of people & furniture!Bottom line: This is not a game that's gonna win any awards or break sales records...but as a fan of the series and not expecting TOO much going into it, I enjoyed "Monster High: 13 Wishes", despite its "freaky" flaws. Controlling Frankie's severed hand was worth the price of admission alone! I couldn't stop humming the Addams Family theme. lol

This arrived and didn't work in our Wii U. We were working with Nintendo to see if it was our system, and unfortunately ventured outside of the Amazon return window. Turns out it was the game (It first wouldn't load at all past the main screen, then there was an error code that came up, then it said we needed to clean the game). I am giving this a higher review though because of excellent customer service from the game manufacturer, Little Orbit. After Nintendo was not helpful, I called them, and they sent me a replacement game on the spot. It was refreshing to have such great customer service. Thank you, Little Orbit!

This is the second one I bought in one week. The first one I bought from a secondhand dealer on Amazon it was scratched and dirty not able to be clean not working it was for my daughter which upset me so I straightaway bought this one she is playing in as it came in today and it works perfect and she loves it

Enough. I don't play it, it's for my daughter. She likes it and some stuff like that and stuff. Period.

I'm not sure why, but my daughters actually enjoy this game. It is pointless and repetetitive. The graphics{Wii U]are lacking and the story line is quite different from the movie.

I guess the person I purchased for likes it...

My daughter likes it and thinks it is fun, so that is all that really matters. If I bought it for myself, which its a childrens game, I would hate it....thankfully it was for my daughter though.
