I purchased these to replace an almost identical product. The only real difference is this one can cycle through light effects (button on the plug that says 'press') whereas the predecessor was a steady on and that was it. I use these for lighting in my living room as there is no overhead lighting otherwise.I have attached pictures. The first is from before I hung the new string of lights. In this photo the string I replaced is on the right - note how dim it is compared to the string on the left. The less luminous right side is after 4 years of regular use. The lights have dimmed, which is why I purchased a new set. Photo 2 you can see the new lights up and they look great.The lights came rolled on a plastic wheel, which made installation a breeze. No tangling. No fuss. (Friendly reminder: always remember to plug your lights in right out of the box prior to install to make sure they work.)I hope I will get at least 4 good years out of these. For the price (about $26) I feel this is a great deal. I see no real surge in my electric bill using these and since I am often nocturnal they will see many hours of use.Please note, I only use these when it is overcast out or at night. Daytime when it is bright I just open my curtains. This may sound obvious, but I mention this because these lights are not a direct overhead light and therefore do not emit as much light. So don't expect this to take the place of daylight bulbs or fluorescents. The first 2 photos were taken with my daylight bulbs in the kitchen (left of photo, open floorplan) on. The third photo was taken with the kitchen lights off.I find that these lights prevent eye strain and have reduced my instances of headaches.I also noticed they remember the last light setting used even if unplugged and plugged back in. The other string of lights currently up alongside it does not hold the last setting and has to be reset everytime (a mild but chronic annoyance). So I am very pleased that this set will not require constant resetting everytime I plug them in.I use those removable 3M hooks to hang the lights. Occasionally the hooks come off (especially in hot humid summers) and a sections falls. So if you don't mind putting little screw-in hooks in your walls I'd recommend that. I rent so I try to never put holes in walls where and when I can.If you're on the fence about these the last bit I can offer is this: I find this type of lighting extremely comforting and relaxing. This helps with my depression and anxiety, which was not something I expected but am incredibly grateful for.

The media could not be loaded. Last year my lights had reached their last season. I meant to buy new lights, but forgot. I was in a rush to get some up so I bought these for their value per foot and LED+ features.WOW. Im so impressed. They are BRIGHT and worked flawlessly out of the box. The 160FT+ was wayyyy more than enough. What you see in the video is 1 strand, and that feature is the best. Not having to connect multiple damn strands.There is NOT a plug at the end of the strand to connect more so be aware. I was aware of this . measure the perimeter and purchase footage correctly. Better to buy more feet and have extra.They are beautiful and the 8 features are cool. Sets me apart from the basic lights.The light wires are thin enough to get a stapler between , but be careful as wires are thin , so dont staple through the wire.No cons at all. Im very happy . You cant go wrong especially for the value.

I love these lights! They are super light but so bright! I needed lights that were long enough for my large patio and these are perfect! The price was great as well! Very affordable for such a great quality! They are very bright and a gorgeous color that lights up the whole patio. My dogs love sitting out there and enjoying them!

I used one set each to Illuminate our two 15 foot tall arborvitae’s on our back patio. The light is soft, warm and subtle and provides a nice soft glow. It provides just enough light to safely illuminate the patio without being disruptive.The only drawback is that the cord is thick and tends to show a little during the day. I tucked it into the arborvitae as much as I could.Overall, I am happy with the result.

They are great! look awesome! and has diffrent settings to change to the look you want

These lights are really beautiful. They're very lightweight, and the LED displays are very small but also very bright. I put these on a giant maple tree in my front yard and it looked SO good. They have several modes you can cycle through with a simple button near the electrical plug. After a rain, the lights quit working. I was very disappointed not only because they quit working but with only a few weeks until Christmas I thought I'd likely end up doing without. Fortunately, I emailed the company and they responded within just a few minutes. They were very helpful and offered to replace the lights for me. I'm looking forward to installing the new ones! Fingers crossed that this time they last.

Returned. Only every other light worked right out of the box, tried all the different setting to make sure.

The are bright and work wonderfully. Definitely recommend!
