I bought this for a Pentax film camera I found at a garage sale that didn't come with a lens cap. It works and fits perfectly!

Perfect for Pentax lenses with 49mm filter size.

I bought this really quick to replace one that is either in my truck or on the side of the road. I preferred to keep it in the Pentax family as that is what I shoot and have multiple lenses. It fit like it was there all the time! I would also assume it might fit other lenses with the 49mm opening.

I purchased the Pentax Front Lens Cap 49 mm for my SMC Pentax-DA 35mm F2.8 Limited Macro lens has an internal lens hood and accepts filters with 49mm thread. It also comes with slip-fit lens cap that does not quite fit when filters are used. To remedy this when out in the field using filters this pinch cap works great even using the B+W Pro filter which are extremely thin. It is better to lose this cap then the more expensive original slip-fit cap.

Lens works! It does occasionally pop off through.
