I’ve used lots of different brands over the last 40 years and I’ve found that there’s three things that are important. It needs to be strong, abrasion resistant, and limp. Izorline XXX fits the bill.When it’s spooled up on a spinning reel, limpness is a major bonus as it comes off the reel smoothly which means longer casts. To a lesser degree on a conventional reels you might expect fewer backlashes.I’m in the process of switching all my reels to Izorline XXX.
