Good nutritional value.
First, I'm not a fan of figs - it's a texture thing. I had done some research for foods that are nutrient dense, especially electrolytes. Dried figs seemed to fit the bill. When I received this product I was at first put off. They looked moldy. But after reading the label it said that 'sugaring' can occur on the outside of the product which is only a result of the drying process. Whew! These are sweet and not overly moist or chewy. Seem to be dried perfectly.Although figs are still not my favorite dried fruit, these are certainly palatable and I will continue to eat them for the nutritional benefits.I have tried dried apricots from this same brand and are pleased with those as well.

Odd growths on figs...?
Mine came looking like this... still sealed and say they are good for many more months. I’ve never bought figs before so I’m not sure if they are ok to eat but they look nothing like the picture. On the back it says a natural aging process called sugaring can happen, and they smell fine, soooooooo here's hoping they are ok?

Delicious product, poor packaging
Love that most of the figs are succulent and rich in taste. Some are dry but I can rehydrate them in a bit of wine and honey. My only gripe would be that by the time they figs reach me, more often than not, the packaging is squashed and some of the figs have spilled out and created a mess.

Great company fast shipping
My figs came with a brown film on them I thought they were moldy or something. I decided to do a Google search and discovered this film is a natural sugar the figs create. After smelling and debating if I should try one I popped one in my mouth. All I can say is Wow sweet and delicious don't fear the brown film it's just natural fig sugar. ENJOY!

DEE-LICHHH--IOUSSSSS!
Great taste and delightfully chewy! (5 stars) This is what I wrote about the first container I bought. Well, the second one I got was not tasty and chewy at all--the figs were dried up, as if maybe they had been stored for too long or in the wrong temperature. Well, I gave them another try and believe it or not they were just as tasty and chewy as when I first tried them! So I'm raising their score from two stars back to five stars. Enjoy!

Taste, only saving grace
Have ordered this product 4 times i believe, on my sub and save account. The first two packs were good. The 3rd pack got a distinct whitish film all over the outside of the figs. This did not hurt the flavor, but was not appetizing...so i cut them up in my oatmeal while it was cooking. (i don't like wasting things) The 4th and final pack arrived and they were so dehydrated and hard i cannot chew them. So, will hydrate them in boiling water again, but will not be reordering.

A Sweet Surprise
I’ve ordered these figs five times (so far), and I plan to keep on ordering them. I have a sensitive tummy, and these are a sweet treat I eat with no problems. Rarely, I’ll run into a few that are dryer than you’d like, but 90% of the time they are soft, sweet and moist. And, the price is great! SunMaid figs at the local SaveMart are half the price, but you only get 4 ounces vs 16 ounces from Jansal—and they are way better quality. We didn’t have figs in our family growing up, so I was delighted to discover them late in life. And as a lady in her golden years, I appreciate the added benefit the fiber provides for an aging gastrointestinal tract. 😊
