These are great clips! I hold my hard hat helmet light down with them. They are VERY RELIABLE

Does exactly what they’re designed to do.

I had to secure a head lamp to my slippery first responder helmet. How? Duct tape? Tacky. Drill some holes? Kills the integrity of the helmet. Loosen the band? It slides around. Tighten the band? It rides up and I illuminate the ceiling. In desperation I rolled the dice and went to Amazon just to ask how to affix a strap to a helmet, be it a light, or some other necessary strapped item. They had the answer, it was so cheap it looked weird and suspicious, but I tried them, and they worked perfectly. They are noticeable but only on the sides and back, and it is a solid hold, I can bend down, move around, and the head lamp is stable. Problem solved, very clever. Who would have thought? This is innovative value for the very low cost.

Disappointed in how well they hold to my hard hat and I don't have an unusual designed hat, it's a generic one. Will try something else!
