I really love The Physiology Coloring Book since I’m a science nerd. Coloring the diagrams is calming, but I’m still learning a lot about how the body works. The illustrations are clear and detailed, which makes it easy to understand complex systems like the heart, muscles, and nerves. The pages are single-sided, so I don’t have to worry about bleed-through with colored pencils. Overall, it’s a fun and relaxing way to study, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys science or wants a hands-on way to learn physiology.

I got this book as a study aid to prepare for anatomy & physiology classes that are required prerequisites for the nursing program I plan to apply to. This book, along with its companion, Anatomy Coloring Book, is really very helpful. The plates are beautifully drawn, the instructions for coloring are clear and concise, and the accompanying text provides a useful summary of the anatomical or physiological feature being shown. The information is up to date and appears to have few errors although there is, very occasionally, a typo. The tactile and visual experience of coloring is really good to help retain and understand the information being conveyed. It is much more effective than reading and re-reading text, or staring at diagrams and trying to memorize everything that's labeled. Although I have two college degrees, both are in liberal arts and I finished them in the late 1990s, so I have limited exposure to hard science classes at the college level. By going through these two books on my own, I feel much better prepared for the anatomy & physiology class I'll be starting this fall. I would recommend them to anyone who feels a need for a study aid, wants to prepare for an anatomy or physiology class, or is just interested in how the human body works.

Pros: it provides a novel way to study physiology; coloring process is fun for many; explanations on the left pages are reasonably detailed; low price. Cons: coloring may become boring eventually; by coloring, you may spend much more time than you should to learn a concept; if you are doing research, consider another classic textbook "Guyton and Hall" seriously. Overall, it you just want to learn basics and love coloring, this book is a pretty good choice.

The write-ups for each section are well written and provide a good summary. They are a summary so don't expect a lot of detailed explanation. It is a good book to refresh your knowledge or to get an overview. I went into this never having taken an undergrad physio course and wanted to learn the basics before starting my master's program. It has definitely gotten me up to speed. Also, the pictures are great. I am a visual learner, so it really helps to "see" the physiological concepts using graphs, pics, etc. A word of warning, if you use markers to color it will bleed through to the other side. I took care of this problem by photocopying the pages with pics. This wasn't too hard, since the book is laid out with all the write-ups on the left and all the diagrams on the right. I thought about taping the photocopies pages back into the book, but decided instead to scan the book to use as a reference during my master's program. Honestly, for the money, it is a great value.

More than 4 pages were printed horribly . Hurts my eyes trying to read . I have astigmatism so the small text and double print of letters doesn’t help.

The book was shipped within 24 hours as the seller claimed, and it successfully came in today. The book quality is exactly as it said in the description and the book itself is nice!

Si eres alguien visual para estudiar este libro es una joya, tiene conceptos bien relacionados además de que vienen pequeñas explicaciones para relacionarlas con lo que estás con coloreando, puedes incluso usar plumones a base de agua y no se manchan las hojas tan fácil.

This coloring book is very helpful for me, also on the difficult topics like the nervous system. I never did understand the nervous system very good and now suddenly I get it! At 1st glance the book looks really complicated and crowded but once started it's great and really easy to follow and clear. It is also fun to do. I also find it convenient that at the coloring page you find a short summary from the text at the left page, for some topics I only needed that.

Contém explicações sucintas de cada assunto, juntamente com esquemas e desenhos claros! A qualidade das imagens poderia ser um pouco melhor, mas não compromete os estudos. Recomendo o produto.

Just a great idea, as it was when it first came to print - highly recommended. Buying it won't increase your knowledge but using it will.

Avevo acquistato in passato altri libri di questa serie per cui sono rimasta molto delusa dalla pessima qualità dei disegni, quasi impossibili da colorare. I testi sono ottimi ma l'utilità nel libro sta nelle immagini che invece sono sbiadite e di pessima qualità.
