Clinical Pharmacology Made Ridiculously Simple

It's a broad overview, but it saved me the time I spent trying to organize the information into charts. The book explained nearly all the meds we went over so far in Pharm II out of 4 Pharmacology classes I will take in my professional school. I even recommended it to my sister to familiarize herself with over the summer before she starts Pharm school. She needs a break before starting school and I feel it wouldn't take much time to go through this book.

Its broken down into sections that make it easy to keep up with, which is very helpful in a detailed and complicated subject like pharmacology.

"Ridiculously Simple" should be in quotes, with a stipulation that you have mastered Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry. I'm now having to go back through my A&P books to refresh my memory on the nervous system and other systems to relearn the chemical processes involved in the body's physiology. This book does go into a LOT of detail, on the M.D. level. Just make sure you have a good grasp on pre-med classes before getting this, as you will need it.

This book is great. I'm a PA student and sometimes pharmacology can be... Well, not my strong suit. This really breaks things down into simpler elements and explains things in a memorable way. The pathophysiology book is a great companion, as are most of the other books in this series. Best of all, after the class is over, you'll be able to refer back to this book for a quick refresher because, let's be real, who remembers everything?!

Absolutely a must have for anyone to need something explained to them in a very simple manner. I am a nurse practitioner student and this book has helped me tremendously

helped with pharmacology a lot. You need to buy this book when you start the class though. This is not an aid to help you when you're already in the middle of the class and struggling

This book basically organizes all the drugs in easy to read tables but its not as good as the micro version!

What can I say, it's simply written and has a lot of information.

If you are struggling with a pharmacology course and are struggling with the basics, then this book is awesome.

Little more than a series of tables, and the information contained within them is very incomplete. In addition, lots of drugs are listed that are not used in the UK at all. In a nutshell, rubbish.

Such good condition. Really helpful with studying medications. Easy to read and understand. Well organized and simple to follow :)
