Your kitty will thank you...
If you have a kitty that loves to drink out of the sink faucet, then buying these filters for your fountain are the best bang for the buck. I will rinse them after a couple weeks then change them all together after 5 weeks. So the pkg of 8 lasts a long time. But you have to remember to wash the actual bowl often bc it gets slimy. BUT don't just take the flower off to clean! Lol. Unplug it or you'll have water shooting out of the water pump all over the place. Trust me... I'll comment on the bowl itself, it is not silent. But it does add to the ambiance to your room. It's a trickle sound and not to loud. Remember to keep the water level high enough. You'll know when to add water when it gets loud and you see the water is spitting out.I'm keeping these in my list to buy again!

Doesn’t fit green Catit flower
Doesn’t fit the green daisy Catit fountain like advertised. I now have 8 useless filters.EDIT: Ok now I see the photo that says they don’t fit Catit. The photo is quite misleading and the little X next to the bottom two fountains sure looks a lot like the check mark above it. It should have been advertised more clearly.

These are slimy and the water gets slimy the first day
These make the water slimy within a day. I make sure the thoroughly clean my cat's water fountain, rinse, and change the filters. As with any filter I have purchased for my cat's water fountain, I rinse and refill the water daily. Before these filters, the water was never slimy after one day. My cat won't drink from the fountain anymore with these. She has started drinking from her back up water bowl which she didn't care for, hence buying the fountain which she loved until I started using these filters. After a week, the filter has multiple colors inside where the sections holding the coconut/carbon pieces. I tried rinsing the filter as well daily and it still happens. I don't know what was going wrong with these, but I wouldn't recommend them.

CHEAP replacement filters
These filters are probably more environmentally friendly than the OEM ones as the are made without the outer plastic disc cover and instead is simply the four packets of filtration material in a fiber wrap adhered to a thin plastic disc - so I applaud the lack of plastic waste - however when installed they don't seal as nicely as the OEM and let crud / floaters pass around the filter and they float if the catit is filled all the way up so they are filtering 75% of the water where as the other 25% is flowing around the filter ... still they are economical and offer cleaner water for the cats to drink than the toilet or stagnant water bowls

Do not fit the Catit flower fountain, made my cat sick
These are not the right size for the Catit flower fountain. These filters' circumference is too small, which makes the fountain loud too. More importantly the water was cloudy, the filter extremely slimy, black things in the water. My cat was acting like she had dementia out of nowhere. I never thought to check her flower fountain because the filters are supposed to be good for a month. I ended up throwing them all out after I saw how gross the water had gotten. I felt so bad for my cat, I had no idea these were so bad. Once I stopped using these, after 4 days, her behavior went back to normal.

Best filters for cat's fountain
I have a isYoung 1.6L fountain and these Rarloner filters are the best filters I have found. They fit perfect and each segment of the filter is packed with the charcoal granules. Other filters I've used only use a small amount of charcoal granules in the center of each filter segment. These filters cost a little more but you can see and feel the difference. I have 3 indoor cats and they all regularly use the fountain so it's important to me that my cats drink clean water. These Rarloner filters provide that.

Worth salvaging your old filters basket!
It wasn't a snug fit on its own.. bUt..it has the indentations, or grooves, to sit perfectly.... in the old name brand filters, plastic bottom. It took some effort to pull/cut the top, glued layer of filter type material, off. And it was a pain to pick off all the fuzz, but I'll only have to do it once! These filters, with NO hard plastic base, are way more cost effective. Next month I'll only have to dump and rinse the "tray," and drop another (rinced), new filter in. Easy peasy! Great fit, with basket, and cheap enough to use at the recommended replacement rate.

My cats, and now all my friends and family cats, LOVE this fountain.
The filters are for the cat fountain my two cats enjoy so much, that if it is not running properly, they will let me know ASAP, so there's little chance I will "forget" to clean the fountain and change the filter!!!I have given several as gifts, and they are all happy cats (and puppies).
