I replaced all my old, nasty baking pans with new ones. It was recommended that you use silicone knives with them. I purchased one for myself and one for my daughter. They work as well as a sharp kitchen but don’t scratch your nice new pan.

I had originally purchased these for loosening the sides of cakes and breads from non-stick pans; they work okay for that, but are a little on the thick side. But where they really shine is when stirring my sourdough starter after feeeding; they’re stiff and long and reach the bottom of the jar, easily getting at the flour in the corners, better than any other kitchen tool I have. Great quality and value!

What I dislike about this product is the fact that while using it one evening to turn over whatever I was cooking, I heard a popping sound and looked around the stove to see where it had come from, but did not see anything that could have produced that sound until I was washing dishes and started washing this spatula and noticed that it had popped open. When I initially got this spatula I noticed that it seemed to have a solid blade encased in a see through outer blade which helped give it a nice weight in the hand. I don't remember any instruction warning about the potential of it popping open during use with heat. It is supposed to be heat resistant. Fortunately it did not cause any injuries or damage in the kitchen. I had to throw it away because the opening would have potential for collecting bacteria. It had been one of my favorite tools in the kitchen, but I will not buy another one for fear that it too might pop open and I might not be as fortunate as the first one that did not cause any injury to me or damage anywhere in my kitchen. I, of course would not recommend anyone to buy this spatula.

Great kitchen tool! Straight side is great for sweeping yogurt out of individual container. Also can tap the rubbery ‘knife’ on top of blender (to get any yogurt still on blade into the blender.!

My wife loves them. They are sturdy. One piece.

Soft, but also firm enough to use to get baked food out of pans. Works great and is non-toxic silicone!

After buying two sets of these, I cannot recommend them. The tip breaks down and opens up to expose the inner core. I think if the top layer of silicone were a little thicker, the spatula would still do a great job of scraping and stirring. As it is, I just don’t want to take the chance of the inner core leaching some unknown chemical into my food.
