The wireless Video was perfect for our house. I added a separate small 10" HDMI LCD for like $50 which I recommend for small spaces. Our house is 2 story 4000 Sq ft , and I had the unit in a closet . I was worried about the wireless connection with the placements the cameras. So one good thing was I did not have any problems connecting all 8 cameras to surround the house. Just in a the nick of time because 2 days after installation out of the blue my car was vandalized. We caught the suspect in the act and provided the video to the police. Our crash course in viewing and retrieving the video was a little tricky but easy once you go through it a couple times. There are basically 3 ways and you should be familiar with all 3. 1. on the unit via hdmi 2. On the phone app 3. via the units web access. We found the phone app the easiest to retrieve videos. To review the videos it was best via the console (easy ffw and rrw) . And the web access was the only way to set specific camera settings- like motion detection area and sensitivity . We called support and Melody was awesome and followed up with each question thoroughly. Thank you Melody ! For power the video cameras have a DC 12v connection, (the ethernet provided is not POE fyi) , If you power location is a problem then I recommend DC 12 extension cords which can go as far as 30ft. , look for " 2.1mm x 5.5mm Compatible with 12V DC Adapter Cord for CCTV IP"

If you’re in a windy place like I am in west Tx you might seek dust covers for them on the outside.I put in a question here as to any specific kind.Other than that, I’ve had no problem with 2 way, the alarms work great, pics are better one on one, but when you pair with your phone you can tweak them.I would recommend these cams for your security.Easy to put up. I used 3 way heavy duty outdoor extension cords for them.Everything is great. Had them several months nowSometimes they go offline, you just have to re enter your password in the main menu. It’s annoying but worth it

I purchased two of these, eight cameras each unit. Had problems from the start. First, customer support is in another country with a different time zone. They actually called my house sometimes at 10:00 pm and others at 11:00 pm. I go to bed early and the calls disrupted the entire household. Even after I informed them I was sending the cameras back, they continued to call, and again after I had gone to bed. Two of the cameras on one of the units displayed, “not in use”. Had to constantly reboot the system. Night vision was terrible. We had to turn lights on outside in order to assist with a clear display. The app for the phone is horrible. It constantly “buffers” and is not real time. (Several seconds delay). I’ve had a camera system for years and liked what I read about these. I purchased two units, one for us and one for my Mother. Installed one of the sets and didn’t open the other box. Glad I did that. I spent nearly $800 on both units only to be disappointed. Now my problem is solved. Returned both sets and went with a professional reliable local company. I appreciate Amazon for the return feature on the products they sell.

I loved how easy the cameras are to set up. Literally just plug into an outlet and voila, they come online and work. I also am impressed with the distance of the WiFi for the cameras. I put one up in my horse barn which is about 200 feet away from the house and it works flawlessly.The only few things I don't like are (1) first turning on and setting up the router was just a little bit confusing, the instructions don't match what one sees on the screen but I finally managed without having to call tech support, (2) the cameras are fixed rotating only up or down, so installing them in a corner is a challenge, (3) the cameras' distance sharpness is not as good as on my previous 1080P Swan system (farther than 100 feet); however, the clarity in immediate vicinity is better.

Tech support is Outstanding! Melody is great. She walked me through an issue with ease, and I'm difficult at times. This system has good range on it's cameras. I have a couple on the back side of house on a level below reciever and no issue. I paired it with a 22" computer monitor with hdmi cable, which improved picture quality for me. Its relatively easy to use. Set up was a breeze. I did find out later you can drag a camera being viewed to another spot on screen to move it. Not in the directions. If I had a complaint it would be , when viewing all the cameras they dont all come on screen the same size. All around system does exactly what I need. My wife hates when send screenshots from my phone of her on the cameras. Phone viewing is nice through the esee app. Matt

I have had a few camera systems. This was by far the easiest to install and set up. It is truly plug and play. I did have one camera that did not want to connect, so I had to call customer service. The representative, Melody, that assisted me was very knowledgeable and helpful. It has to be one of my best experiences calling for technical support. The camera was connected in a matter of minutes. The quality of the picture is superior in both day and night modes. I do recommend getting the signal booster of you are going to be too far from the recorder. I have one camera on my pump house that is a bit far and I use the booster for it and it gives the camera the same quality as the rest of the cameras. Very pleased all the way around and I would purchase this product again if I had a need.

Down sides: Not a whole lot of range, user interface is irritating for playback, playback phone app has ads.. Frequent disconnection of wireless cameras, seemingly at random. Difficulty logging into app. Facial recognition is meh at best, and motion recognition is basically nonexistent, at night. Had a vandal roaming my property for 5 minutes, early morning, not a single camera notified me.Plus sides: they're easy enough to install. Infrared lights are relatively powerful. System is cheap. Rollover recording, and 3tb hdd stores about a month of footage from 8 cams.
