These are what you would expect for the price paid. Quite flimsy for use on flat boards . Better for lathe work/turning projects.

After reading reviews for some decent and affordable sanding sponges I ordered these. They promptly arrived and I have been using them with great success today. I am prepping the woodwork in my house which has Aqua water based gloss on it to receive a water based undercoat and water based top coat. So far I have wet rubbed down a couple of flush doors and some shaker doors. I have only used 2 sponges as they cope with the current W/B gloss with no problem and are still good and in one piece, they rinse easily and retain their shape unlike some other brands I have tried. Will buy more should I ever need them.
