Pro Breeze® 5.6 Litre Ultrasonic Humidifier & Aroma Diffuser with Cold & Warm Mist, LED Display, Humidity Sensor, Timer, Auto Shut-Off and 360° Dual Mist Output

Bought this after wanting a humidifier for a long time. My partners mother actually bought before me which we borrowed when we caught a cold. Overnight we both felt amazing after a week of feeling crap and have since bought the exact same model. We feel like we slept better, our skin is more hydrated (Both moisturiser addicts but reduced use dramatically when waking up with more hydrated skin) and our hair is in better condition, and the house plants also seem to benefit! This product hold enough water for 2 nights (7-8hrs) on a moderate/high setting and almost a week on a lower setting, though would recommend changing the water regularly. The addition of the essential oil tray means we can add oils to suit our mood and fragrance the room (lavender lovely whilst sleeping, eucalyptus and tea tree when we were ill etc). Very easy to use, refill and clean - our previous unit had been left partially filled and Unused and had developed a few mildew-ey spots, but hot water, soap (and disinfectant just to be sure) and a dishbrush got rid and the unit looked brand new and functioned perfectly once again. The product is near silent except for an almost inaudible whirr and the occasional bubbling sound but this proves to be perfectly relaxing to drift off to sleep with. The cool blue LED looks great and can be turned off for nighttime. The vapour is cold as expected, but I will be cautious of keeping the room well ventilated in between uses. TL;DR love it, have recommended to others and will but again if this ever breaks down

Well made humidifier at a fair price. Does the job well; I have it on the lowest setting and it still mists the air well. Quiet for night time running too. It is also easy to clean and dry. No mention is made in the instructions whether you should use distilled water or tap water. If distilled, this could be quite expensive to fill a 3.5L tank each time you fill it up. I am lucky to live in an area where the water is mostly soft, so thought I'd try tap water. I've also put a kettle descaler (Cadnet) into the tank, but don't know if it will prevent any limescale build up. Also, you do need to clean it weekly if it is in constant use, to prevent any mold/bacteria growing in the tank; you don't want to add to your allergies! However, this is explained fully in the instructions on cleaning. On the whole, if you suffer from sinus or allergy problems, this humidifier is very good. I recommend it.

My first humidifier so not really got anything to compare to but can tell you what I thought. Really good overall! Its completely quiet and makes no real noise at all. Works well and not much electric draw. The mist is nice to the touch and really makes a difference to the air. Easy to set up, literally plug and play. You fill it up, connect to the base and turn the dial. A couple of small gripes I did have though was the tank and the power lead. The tank is a reasonable size but it fits on the base upside down and when the mechanism attaches a little water escapes. Its not a big issue as such though as when re assembled its water tight, but because the reservoir is in the middle some spillage is un avoidable and there is no catch to secure the 2 parts together so you have to be careful when you move it. You just need to take your time when you fill it and watch the water. The power lead is alright but I thought a longer one would have been better. Good value overall but lacks some better features. For the price a good deal.

I recently started taking blood pressure medication and it’s playing havoc with my sleep, my mouth gets drier than a camels hoof, waking me up several times a night, hence I gave the Pro-Breeze a try. The unit it’s self is a quite stylish, almost applesk in design, I was worrried about the noise it would make but shouldn’t have been, it almost silent, not quite, but almost, you might not want it next to your head, mine is just across from my bed, do however be prepared for a weird site in the middle of the night, even set half way up it makes a lot of fog flowing down over my alarm clock and the table it stands on. Does it help ? I’m honestly not sure, I think so, I only wake up once now rather than several times, it could be the Pro-Breeze, or the dry mouth mouthwash I just started using or the fact I’m drinking less alcohol, it definitely make me feel more relaxed knowing it’s there doing its thing every night and being able to see the moister flowing out of the Pro-Breeze. One tiny little tip, my unit is runs on a timer switch, so it comes on and goes off automatically every night, however you do need to make sure the base is level, mine was resting on the power cable, which wasn’t tucked into the groove in the base unit, this caused the Pro-Breeze to shut off after a few hours of use and then run intermittently with the red light coming on for a few minutes, then running again, then more red light and so on, tucking the cable into the cutout on the base fixed this and it’s worked perfectly ever since. I have seen comments about the fill point being on the bottom of the water tank and yes you do inevitably get a few drips when filling the tank but it’s not the end of the world, a top fill point would be nice but would definitely spoil the look of the thing All in all for the price, especially if you are unsure if a humidifier will help, the the Pro-Breeze ticks all the boxes, it’s simple, can run off a timer plug, you can actually see it working and the tank is big enough that you will only have to refill it every few days rather than every night, so if that sounds like you, I would recommend giving the Pro-Breeze a try.

- - - - - - - - - - Updated review (29th July 2018) EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PRODUCT -- I STRONGLY URGE PEOPLE NOT TO LEAVE THIS IN A CHILD'S BEDROOM -- FIRE AND ELECTROCUTION HAZARD! I just woke up at 4 AM to the sound of continuous dripping, which at first I thought was an old bottle of floor cleaner I used the day prior, but after moving it from my desk along with a few other things a torrent of water flooded out from beneath the humidifier soaking everything on my desk and cascading down onto the floor below! After turning the humidifier off (the night light stays on for a few seconds), and cleaning up as much water as I could, I unplugged the unit and took it downstairs to my kitchen where it leaked all over my PJ's and the countertop. Only then did I notice where it was leaking from -- internally via the socket!! Pretty foolish of me to have left it still plugged in whilst I was mopping up the water... I don't know how the fault happened, but it's possible the unreplaceable rubber seal where the soundwaves emit either had a defect or started to perish after just 2-3 months of ownership. Not happy as I fully invested in this product by purchasing it at full price, getting 3 replacement filters and a box of oils to use. I won't be purchasing another of these units, at least not in their current state of design and manufacturing. Edit: After contacting ProBreeze they gave me the option of a replacement humidifier, or a refund which I graciously accepted. However, I got stuck with the costly unused filters. The customer service is good, but I would check other reviews as time passes as I have a feeling I won't be the only one with issues. - - - - - - - - - - Original review (21st May 2018) Very pleased with this humidifier. I don't have anything further to add that's already been mentioned by other reviewers. However, a few criticisms are as follows: 1. When turning the main blue water tank upside down some water can run out from the base. Also, whilst upside down the plastic handle gets in the way of it being laid down completely flat, this puts increased pressure on the handle which could cause it to possibly crack or break over time. So far I've been using a kitchen towel to balance the container and support the weight that's applied to the handle when adding water. 2. The LED switch is easy to turn On, but much harder to turn Off -- you really have to press it in on my machine; it's a minor niggle as I rarely use the light, but one nonetheless. 3. The rotary dial to increase and decrease the water flow isn't in tune with the markings on the machine. It's easy to correct the dimple by aligning it with the On and Off printed markings, but when doing so the dial can turn a full 90 degrees past the "Max" printed on the machine; more circles should have printed between On and Max. This dial also easily falls off and seems a little dangerous if you needed to turn the machine off in a hurry. I have no other concerns as of yet, the machine is very good. The added diffuser tray is excellent. There's a 12 month warranty, should that ever be required, and the staff over at Pro Breeze were very helpful in answering a question I had pre-sale.

I have had the product for a couple of months now, and I will preface this review by saying that i am generally happy with the product I have received. It does the job it is tasks with doing very well, and the 3.8L is more than enough for a few days in my use case. Fragrance can be added in the side draw, and it takes less than a minute to fill up - very convenient. However, the convenience stops at cleaning. I have followed the humidifiers manual of cleaning, which involves allowing the product to wash in bleach/vinegar once a week. This was perfectly fine, however the last couple weeks I have had a limescale build up inside the tank, and from what i think was caused by the last few days of hot weather, very tiny algae spots within the tank. This would generally not be a problem, as this would very easily be cleaned. However, Pro Breeze's tank is unlike many, in that it just has a fill port, and you are not able to thoroughly clean the inside of the tank out. I let my product sit in bleach and vinegar overnight and yes this reduced the algae and limescale, I am not convinced that It has eliminated it, and the tank is stained, discouraging me from using it further. I would just like to you to be careful if you order this product - not in that it is not a great product, but ensure you are cleaning it correctly and thoroughly.

This is most definitely a humidifier worth getting. It does the job very very well. It comes with three vapour settings and one can actually feel the difference in the morning. No more blocked nose or sticky eyelids. Highly recommended. You fill it from the bottom after unscrewing the water filter. I unscrew the filter and refill using one of those 2 litres water bottle. A full tank lasts up to a week on setting number one. The mist released on settings one, is plenty enough for a double sized bedroom.

J'ai testé ce produit hier soir pour la première fois et comment vous dire que c'est juste sublime. Côté respiration les bénéfices se font très rapidement sentir. Mon bébé a très ben dormi hier contrairement à certains soirs depuis le début de l'hiver et donc de la mise en route du chauffage. J'ai fait le choix d'y mettre de l'eau de bouteille afin de préserver le filtre le plus possible... Nous verrons bien si cela s'avère payant avec le temps. Nous sommes très sensible aux bruits la nuit et je vous confirme que ce produit est TRES silencieux. Juste un petit bruit d'eau de temps en temps comme les fontaines à eaux mais vraiment très très léger. La seule chose qui me gêne c'est le voyant vert qui éclaire trop la chambre à mon goût mais je pense mettre un petit morceau de sparadrap avec un morceau de compresse pout atténuer la luminosité.

Very nice product, excellent quality and it works just as described. My girlfriend used to have nose issues while sleeping and now she feels a lot better with the air quality/humidity. I really recommend this product.

This humidifier is silent, works so well and lasts for hours, definitely recommend. Baby stopped coughing once i started using it😇

Wir haben den Luftbefeuchter im Kinderzimmer aufgestellt und sind bislang mit der Leistung sehr zufrieden. Folgene Punkte sind uns aufgefallen, die aber aufgrund des Preis/Leistungsverhätnisses keine negative Bewertung verdient haben. Daher habe ich auch den Begriff "Neutral" anstatt "Negativ" gewählt... Positiv - Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - Leiser Betrieb - Entgegen der anderen Rezessionen leicht auffüllbarer Tank ohne "Plantscherei", wenn man es richtig macht - Automatische Abschaltung, wenn der Wassertank leer ist Neutral (Bei diesem Gerät aufgrund des Preises absolut in Ordnung) - Keine Überwachung der Luftfeuchte und Abschaltung, wenn ein voreingestellter Wert erreicht ist (Wert lässt sich nicht prozentual bezogen auf die Luftfeuchte einstellen, sondern nur die Intensität der Zerstäubung) - Optimale Befeuchtung muss "ertastet" werden, da die Regelung eben stufenlos ohne Werteangabe erfolgt und daher mit einem externen Hygrometer geprüft werden muss, ob die Einstellung optimal ist. - Helle LED zeigt neben dem Drehregler für die Intensität den Betriebszustand an und musste abgeklebt werden, da die Kinder sich beschwert haben... ;-) - Gluckert manchmal leise. Bisher hat das die Kinder aber nicht gestört Wir verwenden zudem destilliertes Wasser und haben daher kein Problem mit Verkalkung, oder schnell bildenden Keimen. Nach Recherchen im Internet konnte ich auch nicht herauslesen, dass die Verwendung von destilliertem Wasser für die Erhöhung der Luftfeuchte gesundheitsschädlich sein könnte... Gerne Feedback dazu, falls andere Informationen vefügbar sind. Da unsere Kinder "noch" relativ früh ins Bett gehen, wird das Gerät zur Schlafenszeit von uns eingeschaltet und nach einiger Zeit wieder ausgeschaltet, nach dem die Luftfeuchtigkeit am Hygrometer kontrolliert wurde. Für diesen Preis auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und die als "Neutral" aufgeführten Punkte sind auch deshalb als "Jammern auf hohem" Niveau zu betrachten. Die nicht vorhanden Features waren uns vor dem Kauf bewusst und sollen daher nur zur Information und Kaufentscheidung dienen.
