Little Red Riding Hood (Keepsake Stories)

I bought Little Red Riding Hood (Keepsake Story Collection) for my toddler, and it’s a wonderful addition to our reading time. The story is simple, easy to follow, and perfect for young children. It keeps my child engaged from beginning to end. The illustrations are bright, colorful, and very appealing, which makes the story even more enjoyable. This is a paper book. I also like that it introduces a classic fairy tale in a gentle and child-friendly way. It’s great for bedtime reading and helps build a love for books early on. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to parents looking for a nice storybook for their little ones.

This toddler version of Red Riding Hood is absolutely adorable! The story is simplified just enough to keep my little one engaged, while still capturing the magic of the original tale. The illustrations are bright and captivating. A great addition to our bedtime bookshelf!

I bought this book looking for a way to introduce my daughter to the classic story in a way to her that she would enjoy. I remember reading the story when I was a child, and I pretty much to use my imagination as there were no illustrations. Not only are there wonderful pictures, but the ending is more age-appropriate than the original. For the most part, the book follows the original story pretty closely. However, the author adds in advice here and there to children, such as, " Never Talk to Strangers," and other things you would like your child to remember. The illustrations are wonderful, and keeps kids interested in the story and the lessons behind it. The ending is a lot better in my opinion, as the "Big Bad Wolf" doesn't chomp down and eat anyone. My daughter was only three when I purchased this book, and I was pleasantly surprised to see an alternate ending. The story flows well, and there aren't any boring parts that will leave kids bored. The version I read years ago was a bit more elaborate, but I clearly remember wanting to skip pages and get to the good part. Everything is the "good part" with this book, according to my daughter, who was glued to the book through its entirety. Again, I just can't say enough about the illustrations. Illustrations are an important factor to young children, and each page was filled with beautifully illustrated characters that went along perfectly with the story. There are a ton of "Little Red Riding Hood" books available out there, but this one is one of my favorites. If you are looking for more age-appropriate material for small children, this would be the perfect pick.

Nice little book. Great Value

This book was nice to read and the illustrator did a good job as well. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

I bought this to go with the little red riding hood costume; that I wear when I do the storytime tea parties. I love to read children’s books. It’s nice to have a costume of a character that goes to the story that I’m reading. It just worked out where there was a suggestion to buy this book to go with a costume. Very very nice combination. * The artist did a wonderful job in the illustrations of this story. The artwork is beautiful

Bought this based on the reviews and I want to add to them! The pictures are cute and maybe I’m too sensitive to stuff like this but I love how the wolf wasn’t drawn in a way that would scare my 3 year old who specifically asked for this story, haha. The pages are impressively good quality and thick. I like how simple the story was told/worded. I know it’s a classic, but now I see why so many recommend this specific book!

Dieses kleine, nett bebilderte Buch benutze ich für meinen Englischunterricht im Kindergarten, da es zwei wichtige Aspekte erfüllt: 1. Die Geschichte ist den Kindern bekannt, die Bilder sind klar und in der Fremdsprache einfach erklärbar. 2. Das Ende ist nicht gruselig und selbst ängstliche Kinder bekommen beim urkomischen Ende (der Wolf stolpert über das lange Nachthemd und stolpert aus dem Fenster)nur einen Lachanfall - keine Angst. 3. Den Kindern wird gezeigt, dass es bei Märchen drum geht, den Kindern etwas beizubringen - nicht Angst zu machen, sondern zu lernen, dass es z.B. gefährlich ist mit "Fremden" auf der Straße zu reden. # Märchen mal ganz anders!

Même comentaire que pour "The three little pigs" Les textes sont faciles à lire et conforme aux contes que l'on connait. On en a acheté une dizaine il y a 3-4 ans en arrière et les petits ont bien accrochés. Nous passons de bons moments à lire et relire ces contes. A chaque fois on insiste plus sur le vocabulaire, les dessins aident à comprendre et aussi pour poser des questions. Seul bémol, le papier est "plastifié"ce qui est superbe mais la couverture n'est épaisse, c'est plus maniable mais ça s'abime plus vite aussi, surtout avec les plus petits mais on ne peut pas tout avoir!! Je recommande vivement. Très bon rapport qualité prix surtout qu'il n'est pas toujours facile de trouver des livres en anglais (et à petit prix).

Demasiado texto para niños de Ed. infantil. Pensé que tendría menos "letra" y que seria más sencillo. No obstante, al ser un clásico, lo comprenden perfectamente.

Excelente obra infantil.

It's not like the traditional little red riding hood book and I would recommend this for pre schoolers because its to hard for toddlers
