Can it be used outdoors? we are putting in an outdoor kitchen and i think this would look great. but we live in the midwest. winters could be harsh.

Mine is used indoors. While it is Petrified wood/stone I would think it would be fine to used outdoors, however, I can't answer that with any certainty. I will say I love my sink and it is commented upon by everyone when they see it.

Are the interiors prone to stain or etching from every day use?

This sink is in a basement bath. Gets used multiple times weekly but not daily. We have not had any trouble with staining of the interior area or the etching. Love the sink. Definitely a conversation piece.
