How is this on your wrist and hands without using gloves for a man?

Always always always wrap your wrists and fists and wear gloves

Has anyone tried emptying the bag? I need to move soon and am wondering if it can be emptied relatively easy.

Probably going to need 2 people to lift the base.... if water throw in tub. If sand put in sandbag

How much punishment will the red area near the bottom take? .... For cane workouts, that's right where one would practice strikes to the shin.

Its is steel bolted to a steel molded into the plastic base. I think it will hold up to cane workouts. We filled ours with water. It barely moves. Sand would take days to fill.
