No mice since installing
We were having a lot of mice running around in the eaves and loft. Have been using bait but as soon as the mice are gone a new lot appear. Their scratching was keeping my wife awake. A sonic repellent was suggested so having browsed amazon decided on this version as it was getting pretty good reviews.Have been using it now for just under a month and can report that we have not heard a mouse since. Obviously need to see what happens over a longer period of time but very happy so far. We have just the one unit in an eaves cupboard and have set it on the middle setting.Having plugged it in to test it and see if it was working OK the lights came on but of course there was no audible signal. Was it actually working as I couldn't hear anything especially as being slightly deaf? Luckily my son was at home and has really acute hearing. On level 1 he could discern it. On level 2 he couldn't hear it but could sense it and on level 3 he could hear it. I was still oblivious. My dog did sit up but it didn't seem to be causing her undue comfort.I would therefore suggest if you need to satisfy yourself that it is working get a young person in the room.

Most Effective Electronic pest controller I have Purchased
We have a very old house which mice love to inhabit during the winter, so consequently I have been waging war for the past 12 years. Although poisons and traps are effective I would rather deter than kill or worse make an animal suffer, consequently I have tried various of these electronic devices over the years with varying success. These have already made a difference with a significant decrease in activity. I have them on the red setting as they are a long way from people or pets and I needed the best result quickly. Fingers crossed fore continued success.

A silent and clean way to get rid of vermin
When I first opened the box I was impressed by the looks and quality feel even if it was a bit bigger than I was expecting at 5 1/4" tall . The instruction leaflet could be a bit better as some detail is lost in translation but not something to really worry about. The only issue I have with the design, that could cause a problem, is the position of the socket pins which are at the top of the devise which puts the body underneath and could foul on chunky skirting boards. Going on to the important bit .... "the performance" ... I had some mice or vermin in an attic space above an Utility room that was not very accessable. The scratching on the ceiling boards was a regular evening event until I introduced the Fitfort Pest Repeller and by day 2 it had stopped. I used it on the middle setting during the day and at night on the high setting when the family were in bed. It was plugged in at mid height in the room so wasn't sure if it was going to be effective being below the problem area. It seems to have worked a treat without the mess or fuss of traps. Keeping it switched on for a while to make sure they don't come back. Definitely worth trying if you want a humane way of getting rid of pests.

Pest Gone Away
This FITFORT Ultrasonic Pest Repeller 20w version has been in place now for 2 weeks and the previous scratching sound of little feet, I presume a squirrel as it has been so before, has not resumed. Like anyone else who has been in bed at night and heard the little pests overhead I was keen to rid myself of the problem especially as previously I paid for a pest control firm to resolve the problem.I have placed it in my roof space on full power as the loft insulation will prevent the Ultrasonic waves penetrating into the rooms below. This Fitfort repeller is a lot less expensive and it would seem just as effective. Early days but hopefully this is job done!

It actually works !!
Having suffered from continual ingress of mice into my garage I was getting fed up with constantly trapping these and never knowing if I had eradicated them. Thought it would be worth giving one of these a try but must say I was sceptical.Fitted it mid way along a 40ft x 10ft garage about 12" off the ground and on the middle setting. Left the traps in place and for the first 4 days was still catching mice, instructions say may take 2 weeks to fully work. Well after the first 4 days nothing since, have left traps there baited to see if any activity but no sign of anything. Am well pleased especially at the price.

Good quality, easy to use
I have found the product quite well made and good quality. There are 3 modes that you can use for different type of pest. It is quite small and easy to use. It is value for money.

not sure how to rate the product
I've had this for 4 months now and really not clear how to evaluate this device. I had mice coming into my kitchen through holes in the wall that's behind the kitchen cabinets - so not easy to fix without having to dismantle half the kitchen... About 5 days after I plugged this in the mice accelerated their activity and I heard them moving behind the skirting board a lot more than before, and eventually on day 7 they literally started jumping on the sticky glue traps that I had installed under the cabinets (2 mice in one evening). 2 weeks after I got another one in, and then another one! So technically it did help me physically get rid of the mice I was hoping for a different effect and that the device would scare them away from my flat rather than make them go crazy. Eventually I asked the landlord to sacrifice a bit of the cabinet to get access to the wall and plug the holes which has worked well so far.
