Q: What are the dimensions? Other color rice pots are listed as 7.8" x 8.8". Why is this one listed as 11.8" x 11.8"?

I think 11.8 x 11.8 is the dimensions of the box it comes in. They are all 7.5 L x 9 H x 8.25 W.

Q: Do either of the lids fit tightly to build any pressure? All my Le Creuset do have heavy lids, but they all purposefully vent to avoid any pressure.

The ceramic lid is perforated. The metal lid fits snugly, but does not build significant pressure. Once you have the water simmering, turn the burner all the way down and place the lids on. Simmer on absolute lowest setting for 10 min, then turn the burner off and let sit for 10 min. Done.

Q: does the pot comes with the inner lid? do I need to buy it separately?

Comes with the inner lid. I’m very pleased with this pot. Rice, barley, couscous, etc.
