Would I be able to cut a hole in concrete block for a dryer pipe?

Thats exactly what we bought this for. It's the exact size for it. It cut through a layer of stucco, the middivider of a cinderblock, and a rather thick layer of plaster. Took some time but we got through. Clean hole too.

I'm using this to drill through a brick wall. i have a rotary hammer. should i cut the hole in rotary-hammer mode or rotary mode?

In brick I use rotary hammer just use less pressure because the drill bit bolt will vibrate out
