I got the Catstages Grass Patch Hunting Box as an indoor enrichment toy, and it’s been a great addition for my cat. He loves lying on the faux grass, and the jingle balls inside actually keep him entertained longer than most toys that only hold his attention for a minute or two. It also taps into his natural hunting instincts, which I really like. One thing to note is that the toy can be a bit noisy when he’s actively playing with it because of the balls. That said, I got used to it pretty quickly, and it doesn’t bother me anymore. I also want to mention durability, my cat completely tore apart a similar toy in the past, but this one feels much more stable and well-made. I occasionally sprinkle catnip or hide a few dry treats inside to refresh his interest, and it’s held up really well. Overall, it’s a simple but effective toy that doubles as a comfy lounging spot. If your cat enjoys interactive toys or textured surfaces, this is definitely worth trying.

I have 2 indoor cats . Only my 7 year loves this . He’ll scratch at it and lay on it . He’s bigger than the patch , but he makes it work . But , this morning , he pee’d on it !!!!! Litter boxes are always cleaned . I think he actually thought it was real grass .🤷‍♀️ Needless to say , it’s history :(

I have an adult cat and a kitten. The kitten's favorite toy is this grass patch which I have now ordered twice. It is six dollars so durability isn't an issue to me. I get the value out of this toy within the first 5 minutes of watching my cat light up like a playful Christmas tree. After using it daily for around a month your cat will likely tear open the side pockets and the balls will now freely fall out. On the bright side, it is more than sturdy enough to support a 9-pound adult cat standing on top of it daily without even beginning to crumple. The grass on top is what really steals the show though, the cats love it. I would recommend to anyone despite the limited durability because what toy lasts longer than a month of your cat having the time of its life every day with it.

My cats seem to really be enjoying the grass patch hunting toy. Just a heads up though, the plastic grass stuff starts to fall out pretty quick and if your cats are like mine and try to eat plastic, make sure they have supervision and maybe keep it on tile or wood floors or something for easy sweeping after.

Tape the corners before use. That will increase the longevity substantially. Cat enjoys intermittant play with it. The only negatives I have is it slides quite a bit, and the cat with occasionally try to eat the grass

So far, so good. I am going to have to gand a way to anchor this to the floor or maybe use command strips to secure it to a piece of wood as it is really light and he has flipped it over many times. But he really enjoys it, especially when I add catnip and treats inside of the box. Worth the ten bucks.

This is one of my kitty's favorites! I've had it a little over 6 months and the toy is still going strong, sometimes I stick other toys in there too and she loves it

My 5 yrs old played with it for about 15 mins & then lost interest, didn't bother with it again, I even tried to play with her , nope not interested. Gave it to a cat rescue. Hope the kitties get enjoyment from it.
