Does the free chlorine testing pad on this tester react to chlorine dioxide?

Yes. Our test kit can test the free chlorine if you use the chlorine dioxide to treat your water.

For the manufacturer - is one single drop from the dropper directly onto the test pad (one for each) a sufficient amount of water to test the levels?

Yes, one drop for each pad is sufficient. Please rinse the dropper 2-3 times with the testing water before using (just suck the water in and squeeze it out). This is to clean/prepare the dropper. The other thing is, we use special coat on each testing pad to avoid water running from pad to pad, and you can see the water drop is contained within each pad. If you find it is not easy to read the colour with excess water, you can gently shake off the excess water on the strip, AFTER waiting for 30 seconds so the colours have fully developed.
