This is a great DVD player. We’ve had no issues with it. It was easy to set up and is easy to play movies on. It was also very affordable so I have no complaints.

I purchased one of these 3 years ago and it worked well, but recently it failed with a blank display. I purchased a replacement, and while registering the warranty I commented that the old unit had failed. The next day I received a response from Electcom, offering to refund the price of the replacement unit. I accepted and the refund was processed promptly I call that excellent customer service.

Good, simple inexpensive dvd player

Update: Amended on June 3rd. I was contacted by the company and was offered a replacement dvd player after my review. Since I had already replaced it with another model, they have agreed to send me a full refund. That is great customer service I hadn't bothered to call them at the contact number thinking it was way too long a time between purchase and problem. !I bought this dvd player in July 2025 used it twice in August. I tried to play a dvd on it May 2026 and it did not work. I tried several dvds, the picture would come in for a second and disappear like it had a loose connection.. Very disappointed , would not recommend.

Amazing!! This DVD player does exactly as advertised and it plays my movies seamlessly. A true Plug and play because it includes all you need to set up and start enjoying. Perfect size too. Picture quality is great because I played my old Three's Company DVDs and quality was amazing! LOVE this DVD player and it put the other Blu-ray player to shame. I would definitely recommend this product.

I needed an inexpensive DVD player after my old one quit working. I looked as several available before purchasing this one. It was super easy to set up especially using the existing HDMI cable from the old DVD player that was already attached to the TV. Our first use went great. The remote was easy to use and the buttons were clearly identifiable. We have only used this one time so we will see how long it lasts. Also, if you register the DVD player with Electcom, you get a 3 year warranty...you can't beat that

This DVD player came with simple instructions, easy plug and play. All the movies I have watched so far were clear and crisp, no fussy edges, colors are rich, not faded. Well worth the price.

Excelente produto, funcionando perfeitamente. Chegou rápido, antes do prazo. Sugiro comprar junto um adaptador.

Heel blij met deze dvd speler: ik heb een aantal series die regio 1 zijn... en dan is een europese dvd speler niet wat je nodig hebt. Ik heb deze dvd speler nu 1 jaar en ben er nog steeds erg blij mee. Mooie kwaliteit, afstandsbediening werkt, overzichtelijk ding. Zoek je een goede en niet al te dure regiovrije dvd speler; dan is deze een aanrader UPDATE REVIEW 2026: in 2022 gekocht en nog steeds werkt de dvd speler goed en zonder problemen. AANRADER

Really good DVD. I like it a lot. It plays all the different regions of DVDs I have. The picture is good, at least to me. I read before purchasing that some of the buyers had an issue with the remote. I find it absolutely all right. No issues so far. And I have quite big hands. :) Installation was quick and basically, I had to connect it and it started to work. Really good item. Very good for the price. Really small. I don't find it loud. To me is quiet. Of course, when the DVD is loading, you can hear it loading, but while watching, no issues at all. So, my personal opinion about this small DVD is 5/5. Exactly what I needed.

This was the easiest installment ever although I first read the instructions and felt a bit daunted before getting started. In the end, it basically installed itself and works like a charm. I gave the remote control only 4 stars because I was so intent on viewing the American DVD that I did not dare do anything once it began playing. I will revisit using the remote other than turning off and on when I have time to be focused. For the price you simply cannot go wrong. The one minus is that it was delivered in the same box from the manufacturer, meaning that it was not packaged for mailing. I count myself fortunate that nothing was broken.
