Exquisitely beautiful photos of Monet’s paintings with interesting quotes and text about his life and artistic pursuit of excellence. Nearly every page includes vividly colorful photographs of Monet’s paintings during his time in Giverny. I love Monet’s quotes throughout the book and how the author organized the book. It’s truly a gift for Monet lovers.

Beautiful book that reminded my Mom (gift to her) of visiting Giverney, Monet’s home, in France last year. Perfect coffee table book too.

Interesting Book of Monet's work.

The paintings are so close up you can see the brush marks and the color is brilliant! I just received it and will be reading it but hard to describe the beauty!

Better but more of the same. Too many close ups, too much text. Not enough full or double page prints of the entire paintings. Is that book out there?

This book provides insight into Monet’s career and how his style evolved with changes in his life.
