Beachtek DXA-SLR ULTRA Audio Adapter

I bought this as a help to record audio input to my video camera - Cannon mic input. Was I greatly surprised how this device worked.It allowed me to adjust my audio to get great professional sound. This is a must have if you are serious about sound. It did not induce noise into my system. This was a concern, but I'm glad I bought this one for amplification if I need it. I recommend this to all!

I bought this unit a year ago and used it 3 times. Last time I used it the audio cord to the XLR input could not be released because the release button doesn't work as its supposed to.The other annoying thing was the unit stops working about 15 minutes of use

This adapter is a killer for a dslr. Once you got everything set up you wont be disapointed in the quality of the audio recording . Just gotta follow manual and set your level so you live headroom otherwise you will cliping

I started recording video with a Canon 5D Mark 2 and since I (1) have a substantial inventory of professional microphones and (2) do NOT want to record audio onto another device and then sync in post production, this sucker does the trick.

Fantastic when you have the need to use an external wireless or handheld microphone.

Love this item on my GH-4. Make sound so much better
