Stitch cover
A cute little book, with the stitching area on cover is what I wanted. Wish I had noticed it has unlined pages, but it’s fine for my purpose!

Product damaged by display hanger
The product itself is great but I don't recommend using adhesive labels that will damage the appearance.

How to get the plastic hanger off
I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the plastic hanger ruining the back cover of this journal. I used my hair dryer to warm it up for a few seconds to soften the adhesive, then took a razor blade (the kind you put in a box cutter) and slid it under the plastic part. It came right off and didn’t tear the cardboard or leave any adhesive behind. I hope someone finds this useful!

Hair dryer worked perfectly to remove my plastic tag
Love this journal & can't wait to begin my project. Dana C's hair dryer suggestion works marvelously! A little pricey but I do love the project possibilities.

packaging ruined the product
The display hook is plastic and was glued to the back cover, when trying to remove, it pulled off backing paper. Looks terrible, will need to figure out a way to cover it.

Don’t get it
I was looking forward to cross stitching this but why they had a hanger that would rip the paper off the back.......and make my work look cheap a big disappointment !!!!!

Great product but a let down
When this product was first launched by Dimensions it came with the thread, needles and pattern to create the design on the cover art. The biggest issue with this revised item is that it comes with a hard plastic hanging tag stuck to the back cardboard cover. It is impossible to remove without ripping the cover. Very poor planning. This item loses most of its stars because of this.It isn’t the easiest thing to stitch on. The card is very sturdy and because it is such a dark colour you need to stitch with 3 or 4 strands to get good coverage. I got through four needles completing one cover. I used 2 long lengths doubled over so that I could loop the thread at the back and not have any knots as they will be visible unless you put your own backing sheet in the book.
