The box it came in deceivingly looked like it went through hell but the contents were in ridiculously good shape in comparison. Literally no scratches or dings in the wood. So if that’s not just a lucky break, then I’d understand the reason for such a low priced item then(around$60). Because only one speaker(right) plays audio while playing a vinyl record. Hopefully that’s something I can get into and fix. The player’s arm wasn’t secured properly and was free to bang around all over. And the plastic needle cover wasn’t even on either so it’s a miracle the thing played, yet alone crisply. It’s too bad that record players are foreign objects to most now. Because all of that was easily avoidable if anyone had just used the latch that keeps the arm locked securely in place. Heck, there was even a big white sticker next to it saying what it does lol.Other than the speaker not working during vinyls they sound nice, clear and get pretty loud on every setting besides the Phono/record setting. With the other options the volume at 4-5 is adequate, and from there gets pretty loud while staying tight. With the Phono option the volume needs to be maxed out and even then isn’t blasting to my liking. Although that all may just be due to my faulty speaker issue. Overall, especially for what I paid($60ish) I would absolutely recommend this classy-looking baby for all of its different player options, the build/wood quality, usb output for creating/saving mp3s of played audio, and for the better than average turn-table system it has, among other qualities. The only gripes I have so far is the one faulty speaker and the low volume output possibly caused by said broken speaker, and how this device doesn’t record the played audio directly to a cd itself. For whatever reason I was under the impression that this was an all-in-one product, as in didn’t need to connect a computer to receive the mp3s to then copy to disk. Regardless, good product my guys

it seems like a pretty good record player
I got this to use primarily as a record player and Bluetooth speaker. So far, it seems like a pretty good record player. It's fairly basic, but it gets the job done. First, it looks great. The wooden cabinet seems to be solid and it looks great. The stain on the wood is a little more reddish than it looks in the pictures, but does look reddish - not the rich brown of the pictures. The front instrumentation manages to look nostalgic pretty well. The only complaint so far is that the volume dial isn't a straightforward "low" to "high" turn. It turns 360 degrees, and you have to rotate it several times to get the volume up enough. As for the record player, it sounds pretty good. As other reviewers have noted, it can sound a little tinny with really high notes and it doesn't have a lot of bass. The arm is not automatic. When you move the arm to play a record, the turntable starts. When it reaches the end of the side, the turntable stops, but the arm doesn't return. For me, this is fine. A bigger issue is that the unit isn't quite deep enough to completely hold a 33 1/3 LP. There is a 1" high slot cut through the back of the cabinet that gives record enough room to fit. This means the record has to be tilted onto the spindle, which is trickier than it should be. Also, it means that even with the lid closed, dust can get into the unit or onto the record if you choose to leave a record on the turntable.Overall, I'm really pleased. It works well. Looks good. Sounds good. And is relatively inexpensive. That's important. For the price, this seems to be a good value. There are better dedicated turntables out there. There are better dedicated Bluetooth speakers too. But, this combines both with a tape deck and a CD player/recorder (I haven't tried recording from LP to CD yet, so I can't speak to that functionality).

Very Impressed
I got this for my daughter’s birthday. She has developed a love for oldies, classic rock, Motown, psychedelic 60s.. But more importantly, Vinyl. So I began searching and ultimately chose this beauty. In all honesty I was incredibly nervous about what I was going to see when I popped open that shipping box or if it would even get here as expected, I haven’t really had the best of luck on here lately, and just a few days before her birthday.. It got here super quick, like they new how important it was. And Seriously, This little stereo is Awesome! She loves it, we’ve only played with three of the functions, The Record player sounds fresh and clear whether old or new, they sound great. Am/fm surprisingly has excellent reception, we can pick up stations I can’t get in my car and CDs sound great. I haven’t gotten up to the attic to dig up my ole Twisted Sister cassettes yet 😁. She’s had it only for about 2 weeks so it’s probably a little premature to drop a five star bomb on it but the stereo is simply beautifully made, it’s solid, the buttons, switches, knobs are all solid and function smooth. The wood finish is rich with a polished surface. The top cover opens smooth and has a simple and effective slide locking brace. The stand makes it look even more impressive. So far the two metal rods that make up the record storage support on the stand are holding up but I don’t believe it would take very much force to jar those loose and damage the shelf that it’s fastened to, I added some washers for support and protection, they instruct that the very small nuts be tightened up to the wood shelf, the nut is not much bigger than the hole it’s tightening down to, id recommend using washers. But, Overall we are extremely satisfied. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed by this system.
