I've Been Zipping Around these Corners!
These Zippy corners are so hard to find! You cannot purchase them in Joann's Fabric Store or Michael's Craft Store. I was beyond happy to find them on Amazon, because as a Prime member, I would be able to order them with free shipping and receive them quickly. These Zippy Corners are for use with (typically) four or more Zippy Looms to facilitate loom knitting in the round. (Basically if you want to make a hat or a cowl). First of all, I am not a traditional knitter. I have been terrified of knitting since I almost rendered myself blind when I tried to teach myself how to knit with actual knitting needles. The thing I love about loom knitting is that you don't use traditional knitting needles! This is great, because it would just never happen for me otherwise. I originally purchased two Zippy Looms at my local Joann's Fabric Store because I wanted to make myself a scarf. The Zippy Loom pegs are really big and that made me feel a bit more confident that I most likely wouldn't need to risk blindness in trying to learn how to use them to knit. I made a couple of fun, loopy scarves with them and I was hooked! I hopped onto Pinterest to search for more Zippy Loom knitting ideas and discovered a video showing how to create a really simple Bulky Moss Beanie hat using four Zippy Looms and a set of corners. (Kristen Mangus created this video and it can be found on YouTube.) I went back to the fabric store to see if I could locate these mysterious corners, and they were nowhere to be found. And when I tried to describe Zippy Corners to the lady at the customer service desk, she just blinked at me like 10 times. So, I went back home and hopped onto Amazon and there they were! I have made 4 hats! I love them so much! If you purchase these corners and want to make a hat, I suggest purchasing Bernat Blanket Yarn (it is like soft chenille) to make the hats. I made one for my daughter and she wore it to sleep each night during winter. It is so very soft!

not bad at all
Zippy was the first loom I've ever used. I bought it because it looked easy enough for beginners. I was right. I did buy a second, four peg Zippy (to have 8 pegs total) in order to make scarves. After using this, I had the courage to step it up to a set of round looms (with smaller pegs). You can buy four pieces of the Zippy to make hats, but they will all be really chunky. Overall, I recommend this loom. It's very sturdy, smooth and has a cute smiley face on the last peg. It's especially perfect for kids.

This does not look like it's new
The box appeared to be damaged, and when I opened it, the plastic part holding everything was torn. Obviously I was sent a return, although I purchased a new one. All the pieces look to be in great shape though, and that's what counts. I bought this for my niece because she really wants to start working with thicker yarns. Looks to be a great product. I just wish that I would've received one that didn't have damaged packaging inside and out.

These gizmos are VERY useful and easy to use!
This (these!) work very well indeed! I had knitted an afghan for a friend's daughter and it took me 2-3 months to get it finished. I was sooo tired of the project before it was done. BUT I saw this loom and said that this would be even better than arm knitting to do large projects. I took 3 skeins of yarn and with 6 of these looms joined, I COMPLETED my afghan in 8 hours! And it is a beautiful thing! I plan to do several more of the afghans for Xmas gifts -- and I have the time to do it (Oct. 1). Yayyy!

Easy to use
I am still somewhat new to loom/board knitting so getting used to using them. I had some chunky yarn and thought the Zippy would work better for thicker yarn. The product is easy to assemble. knittingboard.com has patterns on-line and I have also used YouTube for instructional videos.

Zippy loom
Great fun and so easy to use. The loom is sturdy and snaps together well. Wonderful for making scarves quickly for donation projects. I have combined strands of #6 bulky weight yarn since I do not have any super bulky yarn right now. It knits a loose, rather open weave-looking scarf. I make them about 6 ft long so they can be multi-wrapped for warmth. I will try super bulky yarn soon but, in the meantime, looming with 2 or even 3 different colored strands of #6 weight yarn works fine. They are soft and cozy and are warm enough for the temperate climate where I live. It's a nice break from working on my other looms where I use different, more complex stitches. I do those during the day and "Zippy" in the evenings- it's so easy and relaxing!

Not bad for the big super jumbo yarn
I got a couple of sets to use to make a huge king size blanket. It made short work of the job too. I bombed it out over three days of about 4 hours a day. Pretty impressive as yo how fast you can make something using the extra jumbo yarn too. But I had to tape the sections together do they would not come loose on me. Otherwise it tends to come apart on you.

You can not get a tight knit at all without the loom falling apart
The loom refuses to stay together in a circle/square

Zippy loom master set
This loom set is awesome because you can knit something up quite quickly due to the large size of the looms. The loom can be taken apart and you can take it with you. There are endless possibilities to what you can create.
