Exactly what we were looking for! Really nice small globe perfect to start young kids on! Doesn't take up too much space, very sturdy, easy to read and teach them basic beginnings about understanding earth, continents, countries, bodies of water etc. rather than trying to explain. Also spins rally easily which is fun for them! Would also work well in an office for someone looking for a smaller globe not taking up too much space.

Nice globe. The finish is very shiny. Enough detail to find my home state. Countries are brightly colored. A little extra detail that I was happy to see was that large deserts (Australia, Saudi Arabia and Africa) are marked with dots. Also China, India and others. I hadn't realized the world had so many arid places. That knowledge alone was worth the price :-)

After 10 min get all loose and you have to keep tightening the screw every time.

This globe is smaller than I thought it would be. I thought the actual world part would be like basketball size but it’s actually smaller. The it’s pretty sturdy and well made. I bought it for school for my 5 year old and he loves it.

I purchased this for my grandson and he loves it. He enjoys reading about animals and now finds where they live on the globe...teaches him geography at the same time.

Enough detail to be educational but not so much that it becomes overwhelming to a younger child. The colors are bright and vibrant and the globe itself has a nice gloss to it (without any annoying glare). I'm very satisfied with the product and I'm really glad I got the 12" because the 9" would have been way too small.

This was a birthday gift for my 40+ y/o son who likes Globes. He was very surprised and LOVED it.
