Massive amount of room and durable.
I am an MMA/BJJ parent of a 1o-year-old, and this size bag (27") is more than roomy enough for all his gear for both with a lot of room to spare. That includes his headgear, shinguards both MA and boxing glove, a spar gi and water bottle. My only criticism is the mesh shoe pockets on the end are useless; the shoe size is too small and would be better designed with a single large mesh pocket on the end instead. Because it seems pretty well-constructed I doubt I will ever have to order another one for years, so being too roomy is not a problem. Good for teens and adults as well.

Good for the price, but not great
This bag is not bad for the price. Overall construction appears pretty durable. The size description is a little misleading. It is 22" long. The 27" comes from stretching out the top of the end pockets. Other things I noticed: The shoe pockets barely fit my running shoes (I am a size 7.5) but fit a 1L Nalgene bottle well, the bottom board is thin plastic with little rigidity, one of the side pockets has the bottom partially cut away, not sure why as it reduces the utility of the pocket, the end pocket is envelope-style so everything gets smushed at the bottom. Its failings aside, this is a pretty roomy bag and can hold a lot of gear. For the price you probably will not do any better.

Nice bag with plenty of room for all my Krav ...
Nice bag with plenty of room for all my Krav Maga gear. Fits everything I need (16oz & 7oz gloves, headgear, skin guards, shoes), plus plenty of room to spare for extra clothes. The shoe pockets do not fit my size 11 sneakers, but the other side pocket fits them fine. I use the shoe pockets for water bottles, keys, etc... They will fit a full size Nalgene without a problem. The bag did have that chemical/vinyl smell at first, but has mostly subsided after a few weeks. The construction is very solid and I don't expect it to rip anytime soon. Very good bag for the price.

The bag is spacious enough to handle full sized gloves, change of clothes, weapons, and plenty of room for other items. The only thing I don't like about it is the open bottom of the rear pocket. I use that pocket for kamas, which seem to work okay. I like the shoe compartments, to keep my shoes apart from my uniforms. The material is durable, and even with edged weapons I have had no punctures. I added a 1/4" plywood bottom to mine that I cut myself, to add strength to the base of the bag.

Solidly built bag with space for everything--unless your feet are size 10 or larger
This seems to be a very high-quality bag with plenty of space for everything from a heavy judo gi to gloves to escrima strapped on the outside. I'm knocking off a star because the shoe pockets are too small to zip closed with size 10 men's wrestling shoes in them, but that won't be a problem if you have smaller feet. (I use the larger pocket on the other side for my shoes and keep sweat rags and practice knives in the shoe pockets.) Stitching and fabric both appear to be very rugged.

Close to perfect for my needs
Since I essentially live out of my gym bag, I need something large enough to hold not just my martial arts stuff, but also all my girly needs. There is a specific, vented pocket on the outside for shin guards, and a smaller pocket that's perfect for a mouthpiece. The "shoe pockets" are a bit on the small side, but work well for water bottles. If it had a couple of interior pockets, and zippers that went two ways, instead of one, it would be perfect.

So Far So Good
Recently purchased 2 of these for Christmas. I was a little apprehensive as I am usually stuck with the very expensive Century Weapons bags due to the amount of gear and weapons. I was able to put a full set of sparring gear (feet, shin, belly, headgear and hands) plus 27" Escrima sticks in this bag and still had room for a set of clothes. I have just started using these but for now this will remain a 5 star view, recommended based on the look and feel of the bag and the amount of stuff I was able to pack in it. Will update once it makes a few months worth of trips.

NOTE - this bag does NOT have a mesh top, just "mesh" shoe pouches on the side. The top is solid zip canvas, they sell another version with the mesh top.Otherwise, Quality bag, very large but useful for boxing/martial arts or a sport with lots of gear.
